I've been checking every once in awhile. That would be a very cool feature.

But what’s odd is that if you look closer, the Lock Screen view matches but is a future look at the current map 😮 and I took these at the same time.

Yeah. That may just be a coincidence. The hurricane is not on there and the storm system over the upper Midwest has been the same throughout.

LOL thats why we are here to help each other.
So for the idiot that i am. Add beta profile, do a iCloud backup, download beta. 3 days later i hate it sand want to go back to 16.0.2 and my backup, i can do that with just my phone?!??

Unfortunately, even though I updated to the latest beta on my iPad Pro 2020, I’m still not seeing the option for Stage Manager anywhere. Anyone else having this issue?
Same here. iPad pro 2017 10.5. No option to enable Stage manager.
Never mind, the 2017 ipp does not have an A12 or later processor.
Bummer…

May I ask where you’re finding this? Thanks!

Edit: NVM - Display & Brightness > all the way to the bottom. And wow, this is amazing!
Hi there. Can I also ask what iPad you are using? I have an iPad Pro 2018, and although I have the option to enable stage manager, I cannot see the upscaling option (More Space) in display settings.

Also for the record. In 3 days, your iCloud backup will be for the newer version so it won’t restore to an older version. You need a computer to get the backup saved for the older version (and don’t overwrite it) as well as the ipsw file.

I’ve always turned off iCloud backup after installing a beta, so it doesn’t backup with the beta build. Then if I revert from a computer via iTunes/IPSW, it allowed me to grab the old backup from iCloud of the previous build. But that might’ve changed.

Okay I think i got it. I downloaded the 16.0,2 ipsw and will be downloading iTunes ( sisters pc ). Ill do a iCloud backup. Turn off iCloud backup. Assuming i hate beta 3 or later versions, i will restore to the ipsw and then restore to todays backup. That backup will be old especially if i do restore days or weeks later. But i think based on all of you, that is the procedure. :)

It will work just like this. Only your versions will be different.

Honestly I would backup locally via iTunes too if you are going to get iTunes. If you make it encrypted, then it will save all your data and make an easy restore IF you need it. Plus if something happens and iCloud gets turned back on.......... Anyway just a suggestion. Also there is a way to restore older iTunes backups by making a few edits to a file if you are in a pinch. Typically works pretty well. Cant do that with iCloud backups.

This videos old though. If you click restore now, default won’t be iOS 15.6, it will be iOS 16 because that the lastest official build.

If you want to restore back to iOS 15, you’ll need a back up from iOS 15 and it will only restore to that version if Apple are still signing it.

I second this. Sometimes I go as far as retrieving the iTunes backup and temporarily moving it to a separate folder so it doesn’t get overwritten (cause OCD). On a Mac I don’t think you have to worry about it. Think you can lock backups (but it’s been a while). On windows I’ve had it overwrite them.

Think you can find them on Windows by searchin > %APPDATA%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

I know, that’s why I expressed it works like that, but builds would be different. Just showing him steps. Couldn’t find iOS 16.1 to iOS 16.0.2.

I’m on an 11” iPad Pro 2018. Weird that you’re not seeing it. You on the latest beta 10?
