iPhone 14 pro max on beta 5 always have some lag , especially when swiping up to close app some time have that lag or hesitate pulse , not every time but a lot of times. Also wake up from always on display some time also have lag , and every jump and skip the animation!
I’m having the issue with swiping up to close apps on my 14PM. I recall having a similar issues on either iOS 14 or 15 with my 12PM. It was quickly fixed in a software update. Frustrating that it’s back. Very annoying.

Exactly it used to have that issue several versions ago

RC day - hooray :)

The impression I get from the 300+ messages in this thread is that beta 5 has been a lot better for many of us, but still quite buggy for many others, and buggier than one might expect from the last build before the release candidate.

Anyone else noticed or suffering from the volume adjustment bug during a call? I can’t adjust the volume of a phone call if the device is next to my ear, if I remove it from the side of my head and look at the screen I can adjust the volume mid call no problem.

Hey, if we get another build prior to RC I’d be delighted. Just not sure we will to be honest.

For me that was the only reason to downgrade to ios 16.0.3

I have the same problem on my 14PM.

I’m glad to hear all of this. I thought I was just getting fat-fingered. Apple really needs to invest in the algorithms for their keyboard, both autocorrect and swiping.

PS: I see that you were hit by the “proper name” bug as I’m sure “having tori” is 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 not what you intended to type. Happens to me all the time. Very annoying.

Lol yes, I didn’t even see that until I saw this, I don’t even remember what I was trying to type! I even had trouble with basic words like “that”, which I had to retype 5-6 times last night in a text message as it kept changing it to some random gibberish. So “that” isn’t a word, but “ftfutil” or whatever it kept changing it to, is.

I use dictation a lot while driving, had to give up on it as it’s impossible now.
