Just installed. First tweak, turn off clean charging.
Manually close all the apps and Hard-reset the iPhone. Then, turn it on and leave it alone for 5 minutes or so. That seemed to solve the problem for me.I know everyone’s gonna tell me my phone is indexing after the update but holy crap this is the hottest I’ve ever felt an iPhone. I’m worried it’s gonna blow up. Never had an iPhone get this hot before. I updated many hours ago and the heat just started.
iPhone 14 Pro Max btw.
All the hate for clean charging in here. 🙄 Go read about how it actually works.
It got hot for me after the update, too, I almost wanted to take off the case to let it breathe. And I did check my battery health after, just in case lol.Manually close all the apps and Hard-reset the iPhone. Then, turn it on and leave it alone for 5 minutes or so. Is it weird… every time my iPhone gets hot I feel like the iPhone 📱 battery life span is degrading 🤯
???I was using the Alarm lock screen widget, which displayed for when the alarm was set. This was nice. Now it's just an icon, no numbers.
Wi-Fi calling never occurs unless I turn airplane mode on and off still.
I can always go back to 16.1 if that happens; I know how to upgrade and downgrade. I'm no beta virgin 😆

My widget says alarm off which is untrue. Hard reset not fixed it.I was using the Alarm lock screen widget, which displayed for when the alarm was set. This was nice. Now it's just an icon, no numbers.

Just installed 16.1 and now my 14PM is stuck on restore screen!
Yes. Just turned airplane ( aeroplane 😂) mode on and off and all good. No biggie.Have you tried all the usual tricks?
• Hard restart a few times.
• Reinstall using the IPSW file.
