Anyone else have the bug where you can’t click clear on a notification?

In order to get rid of it. I have to swipe it to the left.

But sometimes it lets me click clear. Other ones nothing happens when I click clear.

Quote me if you do

Yep. See my post #162.

Yep. See my post #162.

This started happening on iOS 16.1 RC for me. It only seems to happen when viewing full screen album art. I submitted feedback for it.

Is it just me or mentioning a group chat member by simply using "@their name" not functioning unless predictive keyboard setting is on? This has been the case since 16.0 for me.

After one full day on 16.1 I'm seeing about the same battery usage on my "normal" day. Hopefully see an improvement on a heavier day, but not holding out much hope.

iPadOS 16.1 and VPN
When running ExpressVPN in the background Music app will not allow me to browse or use any other channel citing I am “offline”. If I switch off the VPN, it functions normally. Anybody else experiencing this?

I thought that I had read somewhere where it said Apple were bringing back the animation whereby the background wallpaper would move about below the icons on your homescreen (this was always there before they brought in the whole new Lock Screen stuff).

Perhaps I imagined it...!!!

Noticing issues with the touch screen being unresponsive since 16.1. On iPhone 13 Pro. Anyone else getting this?

Watching YouTube on iOS my phone is getting mad hot like it dims and hot to the touch before it still go hot but not like this

I updated to 16.1 primarily to see the battery %age in the battery, but now that I have it on my iPhone 13 Pro, I think the icon now actually looks ugly (so have turned it off again  ) :

I said I didn’t like it but after a few days… honestly I’m used to it now lol. It looks fine

I have email badge notifications via the red badge on the mail icon. But when I launch the stock mail app there is no new emails unless I pull down to download email.

I can’t believe they changed the battery icon. The full battery image with the number in the middle was perfect and easy to read.

The new depleting battery icon is just so, so terrible. I’m stunned that so many people wanted this.

That's a pretty big jump for modem firmware version (for 14 series at least). I hope it fixes the network strength issues here in India.

Anyone seeing the update yet?
What are you seeing in India? I’m in South Korea on 11 Pro and I have lost the ability to grab the free Wi-Fi signal from my provider without manually going to it each time. All other Wi-Fi works just fine except that. It’s highly annoying. This began from 16 and hasn’t been fixed with 16.1. SK Telecom techs blamed it on my phone after changing my sim, etc. Tuva, our Apple repair affiliate, said the phone is perfect and that it is an SK Telecom problem.

With that said, I have seen improvement in face ID unless I’m dreaming. I sure seem to be able to get my face ID to work more easily now. Not that it was ever a problem— just even better?

It was changed because at a quick glance, the battery would be full (the image was static) even though the %age number would show what the level was at the time.
