My iPhone 12 Pro Max was doing the same thing when it came to the WiFi disconnecting. I did a soft reset on my iPhone and I have not had any issues.

Just got the 14 Pro two days ago, wifi issues are relatively minor, though it lost my cards in Apple pay yesterday when I went to pay and had stripped them to from Apple Watch 8. Hoping there’s a point release soon to fix these issues.

I’m having this happen with MacOS Ventura. Surprisingly my iPhone seems to work fine.

But on the Mac, sheesh it kept dropping out in the middle, while my phone and iPad stay connected fine to my network at the office.

Users report that their iPhone periodically and sometimes randomly disconnects from Wi-Fi after updating to iOS 16.1, according to reports across Reddit, Twitter (1,2,3,4), and the Apple Support community forums.

Based on what users are sharing, they say their iPhones are periodically and sometimes randomly disconnecting throughout their day, despite no changes in their environment. Other users say their iPhones will sometimes disconnect from Wi-Fi when they're left stationary on standby, such as overnight. Some users have attempted resetting all network settings on their iPhones, but the reset appears ineffective.

iOS 16.1 was released last week and is the first major update to the iOS 16 operating system since its release in September. iOS 16.1 brings multiple new features to iPhone users, including Live Activities.

Apple this week began beta testing iOS 16.2, the next major update to the operating system expected to be released later in November. It's unclear if Apple plans to release an interim update to potentially address the Wi-Fi bug and other issues being experienced by users.

Is this an actual disconnect issue, or an artifact issue resulting from the Wi-Fi icon disappearing (at least for iPhone 14 Pro users) when the top screen is filled with dynamic screen updates?

I’m sure it’s a real issue. But, I was on a flight yesterday and thought my Wi-Fi dropped because Flighty and Apple Music (both using dynamics islands, yes, plural) relegated my Wi-Fi icon to drop-down only.

Staying with iOS 15.7 on 13 Pro until future 16.x.x versions appear to be relatively stable.
Apple needs to work on its iOS quality control which has been buggy for a long while. 🤦🤦‍♂️

iPhone 12 P Mx, happens sporadically, I thought it was my network. iOS16 is a bust. None of the new ‘features’ like Stage Manager or using a Mac as a screen from iPad Pro 2020 to Monterey Macbook 15” Pro seem to be available. Apple is breaking things up.

Not sure whose developers are more trash — EA’s or Apple’s. I expect more from Apple than I do from EA.

Time to fire all the programmers and hire ones that actually have talent.

Once I had updated to 16.1, I had the issue.

It kept disconnecting every 20-60 seconds! Made my iPhone 12 Pro Max of no use completely.

However, I have found a fix on the Web, which I would like to share with you all:

I tried this solution, and also tried to set "Ask to Join Networks" to Off, but no luck.

The only thing that helped (at least for me) with Wi-Fi disconnections and battery drain, when I turned off the "Keyboard Feedback" in Settings/Sounds and Haptics.

This is a very strange IOS version.😅

I've been having this problem on iOS 15,14 and 13. Currently on iOS 15.7.1 so not 16.x yet.
Had my 12 PM for almost 2 year and the XS MAX before. Same problem on Xs Max.
My network/wifi is stable and faster than 4g, and yet my iphone switch to 4g a couple times a week.
Some days it's driving my crazy🤪
Especially when my job phone Samsuck A50 for 200 USD has never switched between wifi and 4g😂

Anyone found a solution for Ventura dropping wifi?

This has been happening all day on all my Macs since yesterday. Incredibly frustrating.

Can Apple please test these updates before making them public? I thought that was what the whole beta thing was for?
