iOS 16.1 RC ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Anyone using iCloud Shared Photo libraries yet? I’m going on a trip and I’m tempted to install the RC on my family’s devices so we can take advantage of this over the weekend.

Yes I’m using it with my wife. It has been working flawlessly with a pretty large photo library. I must say, I think it’s the top feature by far in this release.

Didn’t use LPM after my last charge today.
Still got 6% left to go to 40%.

That's pretty nuts...I have been in my office today on wifi and am at 63% at 4:30 ET.

Yes I had exactly this yesterday on my iPhone X although both my iPad Pros on the same RC could play it.

To fix it all I had to do was log out of Apple Music (iCloud, media & purchases, sign out) then login again.

I installed the RC build of 16.1 and I still have the beta feedback app is this a bug?
 
I’m on 16.1 RC now - can’t say I’m really seeing any issues, not yet anyway. I love the new battery indicator so much, it justifies the upgrade by itself.
 
Does this RC fix the bug where dark mode doesn’t trigger automatically when the display is set to “sunset to sunrise”?

It's always there, even on an official release. You can open by typing the following in Safari's Address Bar:

applefeedback://

Or, you can save it as a Shortcut, and then create a Home Screen Icon from this:

Feedback Assistant

Alarm widget on the Lock Screen is not updating for me. Either the one with the date above the clock or the small widget.
 
Is Siri on vacation, the wife’s phone is super slow reacting when she ask Siri to do any shortcuts right now..its a good 5 seconds or so before she responds .. several restarts and doesn’t get better , deleted shortcuts and have re added them .. she say it just started happening after beta 4. .. anyone having similar response times from Siri ?
