Can anyone reproduce this bug?

(Basically just listen to something in your library for a few seconds, then delete the album/song/playlist from your library and see if it gets removed from the Recently Played section.)

I recently subscribed to Music and have noticed that after you remove an album from your library, or even a song from a playlist, the album/playlist disappears from the “Recently Played” section in the Listen Now tab. And then, even if you listen to the album again afterwards, it won't reappear under “recently played”.

Well Weather app hourly sun ☀️ is still brown when in light mode on 16.1.1. Turns yellow if in dark mode. Upgraded to 16.2 b2 and that fixed it! First world problems.😆. Everything else seems to work fine too so far. No promotion so no stutter.

I installed the iOS 16.2 Public Beta 2 yesterday on my iPhone 14 Pro yesterday. A few minutes ago, the phone proposed to install Beta 2 again (which I have just done and have not noticed any new changes since yesterday). Has this happened to anyone else ? Has Apple re-released Beta 2 with some adjustments ?

I read your post and manually attempted to update on top of already installed iOS 16.2 Beta 2. There was no update available. The public beta versions were released on 11/9. Did you, by any chance, remove and reinstall the beta profile?

Thanks for the reply. No, the iOS Beta profile has remained installed.

Installed public beta 2 for 16.2 and 5G settings are enabled on my iPhone 14 Pro. Yet to get to a 5G network coverage area.

Coming to a beta thread and then complain because ppl notice issues, is really an odd thing to do imo.

When someone finds an issue and mention it, report it to Apple, it will make the final product better for everyone. Including those not using the betas. So if you don’t feel like being made aware of all the bugs, just stay out of the beta threads and let ppl in here do the work. They are pretty good at it imo and they sure make a lot more positive impact on the product, than those who think bugs are fine and just should be ignored.

On top of that, the “nitpickers” also help ppl like me, who are on the fence about trying the latest beta. Are the issues something we can live with, or is it better to wait for next beta? Like the current stuttering. Only way to find out, is by coming to a thread like this.

So those of you “nitpicking” about issues with the betas: good job! You are helping the community getting a better end result, so keep it up.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Happens every time on my 13Pro.

EDIT: Never mind. Not happening anymore. Probably a glitch.

Seems some people do really not experience any promotion stutter on beta 2.

Wonder if it's a setting which causes that.

I had nothing 16.1, 16.2 b1 but b2 globally across my device.

Reinstalled the beta via OTA and then IPSW file to see if that ironed anything out. No joy.

You might be into something here though as Big Zol and Brandon haven’t said anything about it in there release videos.

Kindly remember this is a beta that we are testing and submitting - hopefully - feedback back to Apple.
Small things add up and correcting even little things helps refine the OS.
Completely agree. And that's why people report it. People value different things, I get that. I just think function over form is more important, nohing more.

Tried bold text - off
AO - off
Zoom - on

My next attack is all “motion” settings under accessibility.

Still stutters. Will carry on with other stuff and see what happens 👍🏼

EDIT

Reduce motion and all those settings on or off.

Dark mode, True Tone all that stuff on or off.

Button shapes, differentiate with colours etc etc

S s still

RM off for me
Auto for dark mode and light mode changes with sunrise and sunset
no button shapes
no enhanced colors
same settings up top that you have

zero stutter for me in any app .. let me know if you want me to check any other setting I have. 👊🏼
