Don't know how some of you are sticking to B2, that ProMotion stutter is jarring and is clearly visible everywhere. B1 is the way to go until B3 drops next week, I can deal with the camera bug from the lockscreen.

While wifi seems to be better from a connection perspective, I am seeing many of my apps are slow to respond if they are pulling info on startup.

ProtonMail
GMail
Different shopping apps
Telegram
Signal

They all are working well, just taking longer to get to use state compared to last beta.

I installed the iOS 16.2 Public Beta 2 yesterday on my iPhone 14 Pro yesterday. A few minutes ago, the phone proposed to install Beta 2 again (which I have just done and have not noticed any new changes since yesterday). Has this happened to anyone else ? Has Apple re-released Beta 2 with some adjustments ?

Haven't seen that.

Safari and some apps

Been running into misalignment for screen controls in both Safari and some apps (see attached for example).

Had this issue last beta.

Battery life is excellent on my 13 mini running this beta. Feels like it’s been at least a few versions since I’ve said that…

Anyway, everything is really running well overall. I feel like 16.2 is shaping up to be the one that begins righting the course of iOS 16’s somewhat thus far haphazard release trajectory.

Keyboard lag is back for me in 16.2. I can’t type accurately at all in this beta, backspace every 10 seconds, entire words that I’ve typed correctly, changed into nonsensical phrases. Backspace, correct, and the phone again sets it to something that isn’t remotely close. It’s NEVER been like this for me in the history of iOS. But iOS 15 and 16 have been awful for quick typists. It’s crazy how much night and day different it was from 16.1 to this 16.2 beta. I’m completely less productive this way and it is so bad it makes me want to switch to Android.

I’ve installed third party keyboard apps and the lag isn’t there, so it’s some type of Apple thing and its awful. Unfortunately I cannot use third party keyboard apps…

Edit: I’ve also tried resetting the keyboard dictionary in general > reset and that didn’t correct anything either. SIGH

Notice the free space in the lower right? I can’t put any app there. I had to delete an app to get what I have here. I can’t put my apps where they are supposed to go. This all started with beta 2

Anyone having issues with Apple Music? Tough to say if it’s a server side thing or a bug because I’m having an issue on my phone AND Mac. On my phone, with is on beta 2, the app keeps crashing. I get maybe 10 seconds into a song (sometimes not even that far).

On my Mac, which is NOT on a beta, the app isn’t crashing, but the Listen Now tab isn’t working. It’s telling me there was an issue and to retry. Everything else works correctly though.

Regardless, I sent feedback for the crash issue on my phone
