Be careful, my messages disappeared after I downgraded, also there were lots of healthd logs showing the process crashes constantly after downgrade. For these reasons I upgraded back to iOS 16.2 DB2. Can’t have health not working
Yes happened to me too on both case. What does healthd logs refer to and does it slowing down my device ?
For the messages any way we can get it back without upgrading back to beta 2 ?

I turned iMessage off, in iCloud settings, then back on again and they all downloaded again. 👍🏼

(iPhone 14 Pro)

Well…beta 2 has resolved the camera lock screen bug only to break wallet for me.

Opening/paying with the wallet app when the screen is locked, results in me being trapped in the app. The home bar is there but I am unable to swipe up. Only solution is to lock the screen again.

Can anyone test to see if they can reproduce? Thanks!

Getting into wallet is fine for me when the screen is locked. Asks for Face ID, my card pops up, and I can get out of it by swiping up. Maybe check and make sure all your settings are correct under Passcode + Face ID. Otherwise, try a hard reboot.

I KNOW, this is turning something off, just till the next beta for those suffering with stuttering.

I love that the camera lockscreen bug is fixed, so I’m staying on B2, BUT, this stuttering is making me feel rough, especially with a brand new ip14, it feels broke.

SO… just for now, drop your promotion!

How to enable / disable 120Hz on iPhone (Limit Frame Rate):

1. Open Settings
2. Go into Accessibility
3. Select Motion
4. On the bottom, you will find the "Limit Frame Rate" toggle.

Just turn it on or off to your liking, and you're done!

As far as I can see, it sucks promotion isn’t on working smoothly, but this a temporary band aid. for me, that stutter is gone!

I know promotion bug is annoying, but that’s not a bad beta for big bug fixes.

And how is Health working for you? Fitness? Do you have an Apple Watch connected? It may be related to that, as I obviously couldn't downgrade my Apple Watch

Excellent, thanks much Pearsey. Also, getting variable audio clicks while I am typing on the keyboard, all click sounds with a slight delay.
Anyone else?

Health is all there.
My watch isn’t on beta. That’s to risky for me as if that bricks it goes to the Apple Store.

I can’t remember the last time I had to pair my watch. Oh yeah, when I got a new 14. Apart from that…

Okay, that makes sense then. There are some bugs in WatchOS that also bug me, hence I always update, luckily nothing bad happened - well, like bricking, there were 2 or 3 truly awful betas - in the 4+ years I've been running betas.

doubtful.. minor frame drops won't stop the scheduled release of the public beta..
You’re probably right but the whole purpose of a developer beta releasing before the public is for situations just like this.

I’m not saying this is a major issue in their playbook but for me, the animations of the OS are the biggest factor of the UE. 95% of what I do on this phone involves reading text and scrolling so I’m staying on beta 1.

I’m sure it’ll get fixed. My guess would be their tinkering with the 120 Hz/SwiftUI on this beta which should be more refined by the public release.

Volume buttons on call still dont work on my 13PM

at 120fps I notice stuttering, mild or severe depending on how fast I slide. but if I limit the screen refresh to 60fps, the 13 pro goes with transitions at less than 20fps, where I see all the system animations with many cuts in between. I prefer to continue with 120fps the truth.
