Maybe they’re classing the security response as the latest beta. 🤷🏼♂️😂
I have the same issue. It gets stuck on preparing
Running 15.7.1 here
Or beta 4 isnt ready yet since they were closed last week for the holiday and need a few days to catch up. Or its dropping Wednesday or Thursday (which is also a common update day). OR they about to release it and no more betas. Man the options make for an interesting wait huh?Actually. Apple could be delaying Beta 4 since TVOS and WatchOS are already on “b” build while iOS/MacOS are on “e” build. Apple wants to make sure all OS builds have the same alphabetical number
I think the security update testing is part of the delay. They can actually release betas through that vehicle, and the security update brings us to "f', for whatever that's worth.Or beta 4 isnt ready yet since they were closed last week for the holiday and need a few days to catch up. BTW the build letters have zero to do with it though.![]()

My Fingers are crossed Beta 4 today, please. Let's do this, Apple.
We're being told... it was up so long the glue came dry and undone. Waiting for Beta 4. 🤞Why did this thread get unstickied? I thought beta 4 had happened for a moment.

My iPhone 14 pro max with iOS 16 to iOS 16.1.2 still have there issues, can not completely fix it by restart and reset method, all issues will be back after 2-3 days after restart:
- Battery drain 5% with sleep mode after charging 100% at 10pm, not use phone at night.
- Sometimes temperature is hot and quickly drain battery , even I just use safari or tiny apps.
- Brightness adjustment issue: some time adjust brightness to bright or too dark after unlocking screen.
- Weather app is update infomation too slow.
- Lost HDR effect when reviewing HDR contents in Photo app, TV app, Netflix app, Youtube app with undefined reason.
- Ram management: always reload safari , always reload apps.
-UI animation lag and stutter.
-Crashing Apple apps when scrolling down control center.
-No volume control on lock screen when calling or playing music
-Temperature of camera component to high after taking few photos while.
- Photo app issue: disappear one photo when viewing list photo.
Bonus, Apple Pay can not use in Vietnam.
Please Apple fix it as soon as possible.
