Hmmm like running not just iOS beta but also Withings beta? Sounds adventurous! 😀 But thanks for the idea, it’s good to know that this option exists, I’ll keep it in mind.

I only have their scale, it’s been working okay-ish (except it lost wifi at some point and won’t reconnect anymore, so I’m relying on BT only, but it’s not bugging me too much), meaning - not super fast but always synced eventually, till last Tuesday.

So, thanks for the feedback - I’m wondering what the outcome will be. If I’m super lucky the next iOS update might fix it 😏
Yep TestFlight is basically - Beta for apps!

And so I jumped on the scale today just to see and I’ve posted my sync results. Basically it synced (weight data @ 5:05pm) immediately to Apple Health as soon as HealthMate pulled in the new data.

One thing I’ll add is I’ve noticed in the past, when my phone would download and install Heathmate from a iOS restore, I would have issues with the app until I uninstalled it and re installed it. I’m not sure if maybe something in a restore just makes it awkward or what. I imagine you have already tried an uninstall/re-install… but just tossing it out there.

Honestly, Really?

5 Apple silicon chip sets later and the performance is still the same.

😆😂 no way! Not buying that. It’s 2x fast than A11 chip on the X. And has 16 neural engine compared to 3 in the X.

The phone will boot up faster, apps load quicker, apps download faster and install faster, Face ID unlock quicker… I mean the list is very long and I could go on and on.

I’ve seen a massive leap from my 12 to my 14 Pro.

But if it runs great on your X, that’s all that matters here.
I’m sure you’re correct but in my day to day use I basically see very little real difference. To me the X still seems to run really smoothly. Guess speed tests etc would show lots of improvements but the 2 phones feel similar to me.

Hey it’s a good thing really.

i made some changes to Notes prior to upgrading from iOS 16.1.1/2 and they synced fine between my iPad and iPhone. Since upgrading to iOS 16.2 Notes won’t sync which makes no sense as that was a listed fix.

Anyone else having this problem?

Looks like Notes is syncing, but it’s taking about 5 to 10 minutes to do so.

I‘m seeing the same problem with Reminders. I marked a reminder as done about 6 minutes on My iPhone and it’s not marked done on my iPad or Mac.

I found that ‘blur’ and turned it off, but it made no difference
note that my lock screen wasn’t blurred, just the wallpaper

Yes, the blur only effects wallpaper not lockscreen. Hence, why I brought up the blur option possibility. I know, the lockscreen doesn’t get blurred. Apple wouldn’t want that. ppl want to see their lockscreen pic focused.

I’ve overcome the problem now using wallpaper settings, eliminating shortcuts

Trying to get clarification on the ADP end to end encryption. All but one of my devices have been updated to support ADP. My MBP being an early 2015 model cannot update to macOS 13. So it asks me to remove it before I can complete the setup.

So what happens to my MBP? Does it still have access to data now protected by ADP? Things like Notes and Photos can’t be updated or viewed on my MBP?

Hopefully someone can explain this.

Sheesh, after updating, it seems like every single app has run away with background activity, even after a reboot and several hours elapsed for “optimization.”

Background App Refresh is off of course.

Still some jittering and stuttering with the visuals on iPhone 13 Pro. Very noticeable in Facebook Messenger. I hate that I have to use it but it's what almost everyone I know communicates with. In it, any time you tap a conversation there's an annoying stutter. This has persisted since iOS 16. This is a fresh restore install too and nothing is wrong with the phone.

Your 2015 MBP won't have access to any data on iCloud except for Mail, Contacts and Calendar.

I have a work MBP that's on Monterey and it won't allow you to sign into your iCloud account with ADP on.

You can read more about it here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202303

I’m noticing AOD shuts off when I lay my 14 PM on a wireless charger. Has that always been the case, or new with 16.2?

You still cant access Apple wallpapers from customize lockscreen? How to add them?

The AOD still shows notifications sometimes even though I disabled them in the settings. Is this a known bug? Happens reproducible when I watched a YouTube video in fullscreen, stop it, and turn off the phone. Very annoying

I think you would need this to be answered by someone using an X on 16.2… because my experience is amazing on my iPhone 14 Pro, but this is very different, more advance hardware than yours.

I honestly couldn’t comment for you unless I knew how it would effect an X.

Did you see post 261!

Solid report it’s working well, as well as a 14 pro on his X.

I may have pinpointed a very annoying FaceID lag issue that plagued my device since 16.2 beta, I believe it’s isolated to 14 p and pm only, it appears this may have something to do with Dynamic island, am working with an Apple support at the moment hoping for a solution soon.

I have attached 2 videos showing the lag, I am using a 3rd party app for the demonstration for security purposes but this can also be duplicated via Settings -> password for those who have iCloud keychain turned on, 14 PM on 16.2 public release, 16.1.2 does not have this issue

1st vid, with nothing inside dynamic island, you can see the lag / unresponsive scroll

2nd vid, now with Apple music occupying the dynamic island (or any app will do), no lag or much less apparent

After beta 3 of 16.2 my battery went down fast. I now do half of what I normally have at the final. And not touching the settings. I hope 16.3 beta 1 comes soon. what a drama. iphone 13 pm

Have an issue with proximity sensor. When I receive a call and answer there is lock icon in dynamic island. I put it in my ear and screen goes off (correct) but when I move it away from my ear (to see the screen), the screen has a delay to show for 2 seconds. If I unlock the phone the delay goes away! Of course everything works ok when I call someone (because the phone it's already unlocked). Proximity sensor works great then. Any thoughts?

Not seen that at all on my 14pro.

Might not be Apple.

That’s a third party messaging app right? Try offloading it and reinstall or wait for them to update their app. Might be a conflict with 16.2 they could be working on.
