I for one can tell the difference between 16.1 and 16.3 , I was having all kinds of issues on 16.1 .. 16.2 was good for me and now 16.3 beta 1 seems to be a tad quicker in scrolling and animation to me .. I also always update with IPSW and so does @Pearsey, so others may experience something totally different.. This will do just fine for the next 3 weeks until beta 2...
I have been trying to hold off on 16.3 until at least beta 2, but now you @Bobout AND @Pearsey have given it such praise I am forced to follow suit... 🤣 (I too have taken to performing all updates via IPSW so I hope too luck out as well..)

Home app now shows the name instead of email as it should. That makes this beta worth it alone.

OK So typically I wait until a B2 or B3 but you guys have MADE me pull the trigger. Not that I am having any issues at all with 16.2. I figured what the heck, its later in the 16.x cycle so.......... Plus if there are issues, I can always downgrade back to 16.2. 😃

Sometimes when opening YouTube, it says that I’m disconnected from the internet, because I have private relay on. I have to turn off private relay, refresh YouTube and then turn on private relay again, and then YouTube will work just fine.
Don’t know if this a thing of private relay or bug of YouTube.

PR is still having / causing issues.
I just leave it off instead of playing tag with it.

13 ProMax

Overall my device has been running slow (apps).
So I’m doing a Pear Maneuver this morning.
I’ll post with the outcome.

Finished the PMR (Pear Maneuver Refresh).
Gonna give it some time to set itself.

Initial impression is “maybe” a bit better.
Will know better tonight / tomorrow.

Is this new?

Take a screenshot on macOS 13.1. Click the preview in bottom right corner to markup the image - iPhone on iOS 16.3 automatically opens the same image to let you markup directly on your phone - even if locked.

Interesting—I’m assuming you’re using Handoff?

I see that the modem firmware, at least for the XR, has dropped back a version from 16.2. Typical for a beta 1. I hope that doesn't make for worse connectivity or other connection issues. (5.01.00 from 5.01.01)

Yeah I’m getting this as well. It was much worse on previous betas but still happening
Gotta say, not getting these wifi disconnects on the release of 16.2, it seems to maintain connection fine on my 14 Pro Max.

This would be a dealbreaker for me so I think I’ll wait for beta 2 to see if a fix pops up.

Folks, not sure if it’s a 16.3b issue but today there was an Apple Store widget on my widgets stack. I didn’t put that there. When I tried to erase it, there was no (-) icon to erase it. After some back and forth, I touched it when in “bobble mode” and then a notification appeared: “do not suggest App Store again”.
Seemed a little intrusive.
