Bug #2 ☠️🐜

How do you move the 🔎 spotlight search bar to the top?

P.S. I don't think it's supposed to be like this. In addition, 🥚 Eggs are too expensive.

So you have everything under System Services turned off?
Only those in the screenshot are ON. And I have the status bar icon for System Services turned OFF.
Only apps using LS would trigger the icon. Less annoying that way.

If this is any help as I’m not seeing the issue. I normally have the LS icon off as it does my head in popping on and off, personally, don’t really see the point in it apart from to annoy people it’s on 😆

Not so much annoying, rather why and behavior that was new and triggering LS items that appear to have nothing to do with said function(s). Like why would Weather trigger Compass Calibration?

Odd unexpected apparently not needed function being triggered.

I’ve got all these enabled and don’t have it always on. I do have the icon for System Services disabled as there’s something that’d constantly be using LS throughout.
But if people with the persistent icon are having the issue despite the System Services disabled I’m not seeing it on my 13P. Haven’t had the issue since the last time.
There isnt a single switch for System services. Do you mean you turn off each and every system service?

The Weather app provides the Atmospheric Pressure data which requires Compass data for altitude and its calibrated each time it’s used.

Have to disagree.

The reported Pressure in Weather is frequently not the pressure locally. I can turn off Compass Calibration and it has no apparent affect on anything in Weather. CC does have an effect on accurate step, distance, stair climbing, etc...

Update Jan17: Turning off CC and testing with step in Activity. Turning this off has no apparent effect on steps.

I think i've narrowed down the issue here https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...rivial-scheduled-downtime-workaround.2376528/ as a 16.3 bug.

Kids device on 16.2 I can still adjust settings on his phone to restrict changing times to get around scheduled downtime, but other kid who is on beta (and I) don't see the location service granular views at all

tl;dr 16.3 seems to have a regression which removes ability to restrict certain system settings in Screen Time which allows kids to work around scheduled Downtime blocks

Anyone having major issues with Airpods Gen 3 and this beta? On calls my voice goes in and out according to those I'm calling. Also if I do a voice memo with Airpods I get the same effect.

Tried restart, cleaning Airpods, unpair and re-pair. Still the same.
I have the same problem with my AirPods pro.

I just want them to fix the f… GPS on slow speeds and on a steady support speed is always 0. Looks like i have parkinson … shaking the phone all the time to get the speed update (probably movement sensor/gps issue) but noboady cares

Anyone else having trouble with FaceID?
After installing the beta 2 on my iPhone X FaceID will not work anymore.
The message states “There is a problem with your iPhone’s ability to use FaceID”
When using portret mode in selfie mode this does not work either.
But as far as I could visually check do all my sensors still work.
And I can still see the infrared.

Anyone maybe knows a fix?

Might of been a bad install.

1. Try some hard restarts.
2. Reset Face ID.
3. Reinstall the iOS using the IPSW file.

If it’s persists, it’s a bug on that model of phone potentially, then report it.

No Face ID issues on my ip14P
