Apple Feedback Assistant for iOS & iPadOS: Information about your feedback FB11865932

Hi SB,

There are changes in the latest update, build iOS 16.3 Beta 2, that may have resolved this issue.
Thanks. I got the same message today and was happy to see Beta 2 fixed it for me on my 12Pro.

iOS16 is challenging.
Kind of like trying to figure just what the heck your little one deposited in their diaper.:oops:o_O

BTDT DTNM

If your hyper testing it, I’m sure.

But for the average user, and myself, it’s great. It’s an improvement with new features, I think it performs noticeably above ios15 and I love the battery life.

I’m not encountering any bugs now the tap to wake seems to be more responsive again. Private relay is back on for with the new modem firmware bump, WiFi has been a dream…

So hate, each to their own of course, but that’s a strong word or a reactionary word.

They need to do something. Been bolting on parts to the OS for so long and so many that it has become ... less than optimal ...
What concerns me is that they took a pause to fix a real disaster just 2 years ago. The shutdown of features in 14 was a response to the disaster of 13. Now we are back there in just two years. Big concern.

What a bug 🐜 😑

This beta isn’t the best for me. I’m having occasional random freezes and stutters and for the first time ever (for me) the wallet app crashed whilst trying to make a payment and wouldn’t reopen.

Yes and No … ;)

WiFI usually works but 6e and 6 are off limits
Battery life for my 13PM is noticeably less than under 15. Still it easily lasts a whole day. On my iPad Pro 11 though 16 really sucks. 5-6 hours SOT at best.

Still have the oldies like push email, Weather that is frequently right, Camera software that is out of kilter, Private Relay works until it doesn’t, Messages that work 90%+ of the time, having to reboot more than Windows Vista, etc ….
Then add for 16 it has been a non-stop venue of ”Here is a new feature that almost works right, but we’ll get there!”.

It’s like owning a car that keeps having little niggling issues. Hope that 17 is really a fixer update. LMAO when I think about it - hoping for hardware and OS improvements all resting on the iPhone 15 and iOS/iPadOS 17. Like finding the Holy Grail and it’s not empty!

Deja vu. 😁

Touching and holding on a notification to expand it does not work, regardless of whether it’s in the lockscreen or the notification shade.

Apps are becoming unresponsive. YouTube and Messages, so far.

YouTube only required the app to be force closed.

Messages required me to restart my phone.

Not had any of this. Poor you.
Reinstall the beta. Worth a shot.

Working just fine for me... (AOD that is...) Haven't seen too many complaints about it in her honestly..
That’s great. I work in a dim room, and on 16.2 the AOD constantly turns completely off when the room is dark.

And I’m not talking pitch black or anything that would be simulate the phone being inside a pocket. Man, it’s beyond annoying.
