I got hit by the no data bug on the weather widget on both my iPad and M1 Mac tonight. A work around I found was to change the setting from “my location” to my town’s name and then back. That fixed it on my iPad. For my Mac I changed the widget size which also worked.

Battery life on my 13PM has been amazing; better than 16.3.1 for sure. Close to 3 hours SoT (inclusive of 2 hours YouTube video streaming) and I’m left with 87% (12+ hours of standby time). Finally some stability in battery life. Honestly if this keeps up I don’t see myself upgrading to a newer iPhone anytime soon.

Seems weather issue should be resolved now for those affected. Apple Status page states its corrected

Not quite. It is Tuesday morning, 4 April here and my weather widget looks like this and the weather app itself cannot pull the data for any of my 5 locations.

And this is AccuWeather readout:

And this is Apple’s current status:

Update: seems to be fixed for me now. 🖐️

Also in the UK. Same issue. Manually changed location, rebooted etc. Hopefully server end issue that will be resolved. 1st issue I’ve had with these weather widgets to be fare!

Hi to everyone,
Can u please tell me what Is DFU update...
I have iPhone 11 pro in 16.4

DFU Mode is a recovery method [often last resort] if an iPhone is suffering from freezing, throwing up errors, or has stopped responding completely.

  1. Turn on your ‌iPhone‌ if it isn't already.
  2. Connect it to your computer using a Lightning to USB cable.

  3. Launch iTunes on your computer, and check that your ‌iPhone‌ appears in the list of devices.
  4. On your ‌iPhone‌, press the Volume Up button immediately followed by the Volume Down button.
  5. Next, press and hold the Side button (or power button) until your ‌iPhone‌'s screen turns black.
  6. Release the Side button and then hold down both the Side button and Volume Down button together for approximately five seconds.
  7. Now release the Side button, but continue to press the Volume Down button.
  8. Wait for at least five seconds for iTunes to recognize DFU recovery mode has been enabled.
you should see a message dialog saying "iTunes has detected an ‌iPhone‌ in recovery mode. You must restore this ‌iPhone‌ before it can be used with iTunes". If you don't see the message, repeat the steps above.

Once you've closed the iTunes recovery prompt you can go ahead and restore your ‌iPhone‌ back to factory settings by selecting Restore iPhone on the ‌iPhone‌ Recovery Mode screen. Once restored, your ‌iPhone‌ will automatically exit out of DFU mode and boot up to its activation screen.

Addition to 3.:
On a Mac there is no iTunes anymore (since macOS Catalina), you have to call the Finder.

The iPhone connected by cable is shown in the sidebar on the top left.
Make sure you accept the security pop-ups so that your iPhone can be visible in the Finder.

Re weather app problems:

Users are reporting issues with the default Weather app on iPhone, which is failing to load live forecasts and temperature data in selected regions.

The issue, which Apple says it is aware of, appears to be affecting many users across the globe, with the online Apple System Status webpage saying the issues are related to a “data provider outage.”

Woke up nice and early and the Weather App is not working. It seems like this is also your own local city bug because temperatures for the other cities are showing up just fine.

Not working for me either in any of the locations I have in my weather app, which is about 6 or 7.

Two local and a bunch of places I like to snowboard at around the US.

WeatherUnderground is another good weather app. My only issue with it is the wind prediction is always 180 degrees the wrong way.

Minus the loading issues with Apples weather app, I'm happy with the direction its going and additional information it displays. Wind and precipitation predictions are very helpful.

Should be resolved now, according to Apple's System Status page.

I love the new Shutdown, Restart Automation In 16.4. Now I can set my phone to restart once a week.
A nice surprise. I prefer shutting down with software, and navigating through Settings was a minor gripe of mine; powering down should be quick and easy, and now it is.
