Forgot to charge my phone last night. I’d say I’m pretty happy with how this looks. 14PM.

Same here. With low power mode off 👍🏼

I just did a restore for the RC and everything is slightly off center during the set up steps. It almost looks like they put the screen size of a smaller iPhone on the 6.7 device, which makes it look funny. Wrong spacing, everything slightly moved to the top left corner

Hey everyone.

I’ve seen a few comment that battery life seems better than 16.4. Is this still holding up? Thinking of jumping on the RC.

Thank you.

Was weird late last night - lost access to my iCloud, Messages, some Notes, basically anything tied to my Apple ID.
Apple Status showed green across the board.

All good at the moment. Just saw 9to5 saying that is was apparently down for some.

Pretty crap on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I hit 30 % by 3 pm the last few days! (was at 100% when I woke up around 8 am) Ironically I thought 16.4 was better than 16.3 before I jumped back on the beta cycle a while ago. "Find My" seems to be constantly running, maybe it is the AirTags? Wiped my iPhone now, maybe it will make a difference

Same here, all day yesterday it was screwed up, and late last night I kept getting a prompt to log into my account and it would fail everytime. Seems to be working again this morning.

Crazy thing is I am seeing in Settings, right below my ID -

"Get Ready For Your New iPhone
Use iCloud to move your apps and data to your new iPhone
Get Started"

I don't have a new iPhone.
Not getting a new iPhone.
This is a test bed.
Am using Android.

Wow

Update: added screenshot

Weird.

Just saw it in 9 to 5, waiting for the Macrumors article. 😶‍🌫️

Seems to be a bug. I received this same exact message on iOS 16.4 Beta 2.

RC back to awful battery and constant location pings

Oh well at least we got one beta release with decent battery!
Not ”We”, I get excellent battery on RC iphone 11 80% battery health, getting 8h+ screen on time

I don’t want to get my hopes up, but since upgrading to 16.5 yesterday, I’ve had 3.5 hours of screen-on time today with only 30% battery used, putting me on track for 11-12 hours of screen-on time. I haven’t had battery life this good since I first got my 14PM! I hope it stays. If it does, I’ll have a hard time feeling motivated to upgrade to further iOS versions for a while unless there’s a major security risk.

I just noticed the only way to place those two widgets to the bottom is by adding a single app to the now empty row first. Otherwise it is not letting me place those widgets where I want them (to the bottom with a bigger gap between my row of folders).

You know what I mean? Wonder if it’s a bug or a feature and I am not actually supposed to be able to place them so far down haha

Anyway, if you want a big gap between your app icons and the square widget (to kind of have it serve as a separater between apps and widgets), move an app to the row that you actually want to be empty, which is going to drop the widgets further down, and then move the app away, the widgets will stay in place

I don't understand... How come some people are reporting amazing battery life and some people are experiencing terrible battery life? Which one is it? 😬🤥
I think it's how people use their phones and how consistently they have the screen on or an app running - my battery is just alright but I use my phone with 8-9 hours of screen on time a day. Perks of working in IT 😮‍💨
