I WAS WRONG!!!
There IS a setting for how you want notifications displayed. Settings --> Notifications --> Display As. If you select "Count" there is a little section at the bottom of the screen that tells you how many notifications you have. Tapping on it brings up the notifications.
I love this feature. It definitely comes in handy.
Love the new widgets, especially having wind data right above the time on my lock screen; it’s perfect for my new gig as a deckhand on the local ferry line! 🫡⛴
Edit: Just noticed the day abbreviation should be in Spanish (‘Jue’ for Jueves) since that’s my set system language. Kinda funny but oh well…beta 1 things!

Anyone willing to reset your Home Screen Layout and provide screenshots of the first and second page.

Still there for me under Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Private Relay (beta). Also configurable under each individual wifi network, as another mentioned.

Private wi-fi address is under every Wi-Fi but private relay is under ICloud+ under iCloud section in settings.
There is nothing there for me…
It’s not showing up for me on a 12 mini. Seems to be missing for this beta.
I don’t like how you can’t clear out all the notifications on the Lock Screen. You have to clear each one individually unless you go to the Notification Center. Seems like a step backwards to me from iOS15.
Anyone else having issues with Apple Music in CarPlay? After about 8 minutes the sound becomes garbled and full of static. If I disconnect the phone from the car (and reconnect obviously) it clears up for about another 8-10 minutes and goes bad again.
This is no matter the source- my library or Apple Music (stream), even does it for music that is saved on my phone.

I stand corrected, though once in a bluemoon its actually working.
It shows battery percent in a popup once you enter your homescreen.
And every single time when you wake your phone screen it shows headphones connected popup, EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Only one real issue I have encounter so far, and it seems to be a doozy.
Connecting my 13PM to wired CarPlay seems to send the phone into a death spiral after a little while. Starts out all good, then after a while of streaming apple music the phone becomes so incredibly sluggish and almost non-responsive. If I wait long enough, I can usually get a SpringBoard crash. If I do a hard reset, then all is good for awhile on CarPlay. If I don't use CarPlay, the phone works rather well for a first beta.

And one more thing, you are no longer able to use pinch when watching fullscreen youtube video with safari browser, youre forced to swipe down to un-fullscreen the video which pauses the video. 🤬
A year after Private Relay was announced at WWDC and 9 months since iOS 15 was released, and it's still in Beta?
