I use Text Replacement quite a bit. On the Mac, all my replacements remained intact. On my iPhone, they all disappeared, and I've tried adding / removing to trigger a sync a few times

Before Erase all content and settings to see if that'll fix it, I'm wondering if others are seeing this sync properly between macOS beta 1 and iOS beta 1?

only sure way I can think of to fix this is signing out of icloud, restarting your phone, and signing back in. When they've disappeared for me, it's usually only for a few minutes but the always come back. by any chance, do you have iCloud drive "ON" under your icloud settings?

I did a normal update on my Mac and All of the replacements remained intact. I did a DFU install and restore from backup on my iPad and on my iPhone. No text replacements and when I added some back to the iPad manually, they have not synced over to the iPhone.

Hope this helps

Are there issues with shortcuts on this version of iOS 16? I have an automated shortcut that is supposed to run ITunes when connected to my Bluetooth headphones. And it does not run at all.

Yes, there seem to be some issues. I have a garage door opening shortcut for automatically opening my left door. Now I'm prompted every time for which door I want to open. Was working fine on iOS 15.

My keyboard goes blank whenever I initiate voice input then reappears when I’m done. Don’t know if a feature or bug but I don’t see any issue with it. I sort of like it.

When people went from iOS 14 to iOS 15.0 Beta 1, they had to recreate the broken shortcuts and they then worked fine. It appeared to be a beta thing, as don't recall people having to do it going from 14 to 15.0 public release.

Going to chalk this one up as a CarPlay issue instead of a Maps issue since it seems to work fine in the phone alone, but Maps position freezes during routing.

Voice will still announce the proper turn when it gets there, but the visual map may be miles off as the position simply does not move.

Guessing it is some sort of beta or memory issue. Again, routing works fine on the phone by itself…music on CarPlay is fine, phone calls, fine, Teams meetings are fine….Map routing is frozen (not always, but enough).

Feedback submitted.
Yes. I noticed it lagging behind for me routing around Orlando this week. Google Maps doesn’t have this issue on CarPlay so it’s the integration between Apple Maps and CarPlay.

You can't install via IPSW on Windows until public release comes out late September, when an update to iTunes comes out too.

This is because Developers will be using MacOS to develop (via Xcode), therefore only Mac users can install via IPSW.
They're not called "developer" betas for nothin'. 🙂

Folks need to remember that the developer beta program is not intended to be used as an early-preview option for people to play around with the new features early (that's what the public beta program is for) — it is for developers (using macOS as their development platform) to create and test their applications on the new version, on devices that are used only for development, because even though they may often seem stable enough for regular use, they remain fundamentally work-in-progress, unsupported code that may break in unexpected ways, and major functionality bugs or app compatibility issues may go for weeks (or even months) without fixes because, again, they are not intended to be installed on devices you rely on for daily use.

(TL;DR: don't treat developer betas as customer previews, unless you're prepared to lose all of your data or to accept that things may be broken for a long time.)

I anyone else experiencing issues using ApplePay with their Apple Card after upgrading to iOS 16 Beta 1?
Ha I g a horrible time with it in universal Orlando over the past 2 days but wasn’t sure if it was the POS systems here as restarting the Apple Pay sequence usually resolves it
