Similar experience but on 13 Pro as far as battery life is concerned. I even restored back to 15 and set the phone up as new and installed 16 over that. I still have a lot of battery drain any time the phone is using data. (cellular or Wi-Fi) Thats my guess at least. There may be a more specific problem I just haven’t been able to identify yet. Out of ideas for what could be wrong or how to fix the issue. I’ve submitted what I could. Hope there is something in the logs I’m missing.
I just double checked Spotify on the Lock Screen for me and it’s still working properly. Have you tried restarting the phone or uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
I am on a 13 Pro as well.
@Fantasigraphic Was able to fix Spotify for me. I didn't know you could toggle Fullscreen Now Playing by tapping the artwork.

I got that during Beta 2. So far, I have not gotten it with Beta 3. But just wait, now that I said that.. it will definitely pop up
Yes, got this twice today on the newest beta. Never seen it before. I only have a physical Sim.

Still trying to figure out the UK version of this. When I hit cellular or mobile data in our case I get this… no option to chose lines as described in 499.

They must have made some internal changes in beta 3, either of the two compilations, because some apps that worked without problems in beta 2 now have forced closures, such as the weather application of the official organization of Spain, aemet. on the other hand, normally ios 16 has never respected the execution configuration of background apps, but in this beta 3 they are all running in the background, even without even opening them.
Is it just me or VoWiFi doesn’t work? When I try to answer a call I get a message “Call failed”, but it gets fixed when I turn off VoWiFi
Wifi calling is working here. Maybe try toggling off/on?
You have to click the photos icon on the HomeScreen settings page when customizing the lockscreen. After you hit “done” on the lockscreen.
I realize this is a beta however why does it seem like iOS/iPadOS functionality is getting more and more complicated to set and use?
I'm noticing my tap to wake is extremely delayed; almost a full second after tap. This is new with beta 3.
