Think of the Apple OS’es as likely having super cycles.

For iOS, the first cycle was just getting it off the ground. The second cycle was the post-Forstall redesign and the introduction of the continuity features. We are now in the midst of the Widget-Focus-Shortcuts Automation cycle (which has probably been dragged out at least a year longer than intended due to the pandemic).

I realize that this is an oversimplification but I think the direction is correct.

So this year we’re getting the refinement of focus mode. Perhaps next year ot by mid-decade we may see a refreshing of the UI overall, much like MacOS Is in the midst of now.

Anyone else having positioning working in the background almost constantly? I see the icon by the clock almost all the time. I removes the lockscreen widgets that uses positioning but it’s still working in the background.

Who’s had success with personalised spatial audio. Been trying for 1 hour, done about 30 times but it fails to scan the left half of the bars on my left ear. It’s a joke. Right ear takes literally 5 seconds
 
I figured out (I think)why sometimes my notification alerts come thru silently rather than audibly as I have it set. Bluetooth is trying to pair with my car in the garage even tho its (the car sound system)not on. If I turn off bluetooth on the phone, no more issue.

Hi all, is there a fundamental difference between a public profile and a developer profile? besides the fact that the first one is free of charge and comes out a little later?
 
Not sure if it is related to my AdBlocker but sometimes Safari gets like stuck on a page, like it doesn’t load the video and when I try to reload the page or a different tab, it’s not loading anything anymore. I need to completely close safari for it to start loading pages again
 
Pressed the button and installed the beta today.

I usually wait until much later on.

Can’t say I noticed any issues - my banking (Nationwide UK) app takes a little longer to load, that’s it I think.

Shame you can’t have depth effects and widgets together on the wallpapers.
