Interesting. I will ask my friends that work for AT&T today and see what they say.

That would be great!
The info I have to date was that the AT&T eSim for the iPhone is not always stable (especially for Messages) - it's a hit / miss experience and the SIM is a better option at this point. Especially being on the beta train with the occasional wipe and restore.

I asked my friend which is a store manager and he said that esim works best for consumer accounts and physical sims work best for firstnet accounts. When you wipe your phone to restore it, the esim stays intact and does not get removed unless you select to erase cellular plan.

The random app crashes getting more and more frequent is the most glaring issue with beta 3. Hoping this is remedied in b4.

I always wonder what is going on that makes this happen more frequently with the passage of time. I guess “cruft builds up”.

Phone & Messages

Over the past couple of days I have had a couple of folks tell me a call to my phone goes straight to VM. It shouldn’t.
I took a look at my call history (Tue & Wed) on AT&T and compared it to my 13PM. Found I was missing calls and texts. I had 6 calls in my history but not in my recents nor in my block history in Hiya. Also missing 4 text messages. None of the calls nor text numbers fall into the spam category - they are all in my Contacts.

I did a hard reboot (again) and keeping my fingers crossed.

With the changes that Apple has put in for iOS16 and the affect it has had on Hiya (see post #743) I am not sure if it is iOS/Phone or iOS/Hiya that is the issue.

Definitely waiting on beta 4.

Reported via Feedback.

I bit the bullet figuring if something went wrong I'd only have to last the weekend before the next update...no issues, find the new Lock Screen a little clunky and slow to refresh the widgets. Running dual SIM, will watch out for missed calls as above. TGIF

Anyone had an issue where Safari automatically scrolls down to the bottom of the page on Google search results? It keeps happening each time I go a Google search and is super annoying. The moment I search for something after the results page loads it jumps down to the bottom of the page.

I have not had that issue, but I have had other issues involving phantom button pushes in Safari. There seem to be a problem with navigation.

Just tested, not seeing that. Searching from url bar?

I have had webpages that are page (like documents) and when going to the next page it will drop way down on the page.
Usually works okay.

I too have att (esim) + 13pm and it sucks butt right now. Calls dropping, BT freezing, calls I’m not getting as well. I’m noticing when switching from 5G ↔️ 5G+. It’s horrible to say the least

On my m1 iPad Pro 11 searching for a word while using a floating keyboard results in a full keyboard that can’t be made floating.

I’d wait for next beta. Suddenly with this one I’m experiencing my signal cut out randomly and searching again even though I’m outside. Happens every few minutes now and causes drop calls. From what I’m seeing I might be the only having these issues here. I use eSIM on T-Mobile.

Things get warm more easily too and slow downs occasionally. So I’d wait for another beta.

Happening today. Where as it was fine for 3 days. Annoying. Calls keep dropping now. Also it does know signal to stay on.

QUOTE="Pearsey, post: 31254586, member: 1057039"]yeah read this about going into cellular, I've only got Mobile data though as an option in settings, UK iphone, unless I'm missing something here and being a dum ass, so cant follow on with your instructions. Defo cant see a line that no longer available anywhere [/QUOTE]

Interesting. Try doing a networking settings reset instead.
