We have buildings in the centre of town that have thermometers on them, and I have one on my balcony.

A few days ago when the centre of town got to 36-37°, Apple told me it was 34.

Right now in Basel, Switzerland ...

It is absolutely absurd that the phone with the *highest DPI* and *more screen area in the notch than the iPhone X* does not have this feature. There is literally no excuse.

This bug triggers in the following conditions
1. Receiving calls not registered in contacts when screen locked.
2. Trying to shut down the phone.
You can see that the overlays are mixed up in an unexpected way.

I have the same on ingoing calls. But I only habe it when using a wallpaper with ”depth-effect” on the clock. If I use a ”normal” wallpaper with widgets it works fine. Reported it to Apple

Just installed this version, first iOS 16 for me on my iPad Pro and I noticed that wallpaper cannot be selected under Dynamic and Stills. Tapping either of those gets no response. My photos/albums listed below are all fully selectable. Is that a known issue or just a temporary state?

iPadOS still displays the battery percentage to the side of the icon — the new indicator is only for iPhones (as they have much more limited space in the status bar to work with).

On my iPad Pro 10.5 I am unable to choose a new stock dynamic or stills wallpaper. Nothing happens when I touch Stills. I CAN choose one from my Photo library.

Notifications / Lockscreen

Same issue on b4.
Go into Settings > Notifications and pick your app - I chose Messages
I have only the following On:

• Allow Notifications
• Notification Center
• Badges

Yet my Messages are showing up on both the Lockscreen and Notification Center (pull down from Home Screen)

What did they do; embed Notification Center into the Lockscreen?

Could this be an indicator that Apple has a Notch version of the iPad in store. With this new feature, Apple can implement it with iPadOS and not have to worry about the push-back
