Hopefully next beta includes new battery % for 12/13 minis.

I would guess so. Probably just a bug in this beta.
Can’t see the intention by Apple to further separate the devices from each other and only because the phones are a bit smaller.

Small change, not a fan: wireless CarPlay no longer shows the battery status.

New battery indicator!!

i got the iphone 12 and i got so excited with the new battery indicator so I installed the beta right away only to my dismay that battery indicator is not available on iphone 12 💀

Wasn’t it listed somewhere as a “hardware limitation” for the iPhone mini models?

i know i just finished installing it now. while i was downloading the update and went to check it in settings and noticed there’s no option to turn on battery percentage. i panicked a little 😂

Looks like it’s OLED Screen devices only? - Mini. Wonder if 11 Pro has it 🤔 otherwise wtf Apple (my 12 Pro Max has it)

I can't see why that would be the criteria.

Here we are later in the day and I’m still very impressed. Not a single complaint that I can conjure. Battery is sitting at 72 but I did charge up to 88% right after installing this beta.

We’ll see how tomorrow goes (I work 13.33 hour shifts) but so far I’m a very happy sentient explosion.

Probably has something to do with which screen size ratios will be translate to the new pill and holepunch configuration.

Or perhaps a nudge/reason to shell out $1500 for a new phone with the amazing capability to show a percentage in a battery icon. I am sure there are some who would wait for days in line to get a phone with such a feature. 😂

Control Nearby Devices was on at least Beta 4. I encountered it over the weekend looking for something else and wondered what it was.

The day you install a beta is not the day you want to observe battery performance. Too much going on (indexing, logging, etc...). Check again tomorrow or Wednesday for a truer picture.

I do this all the time.

I’ll take a screen shot that I want to send to someone, but don’t want the screen shot in my photo library. I simply “copy” the image and then trash the screen shot.
