Odd installation behaviour...
Woke up, pressed install. I assume it had already downloaded while I was asleep, because my screen went black almost immediately (no 'preparing for update' as usual...)
Except, it turned off. After a few minutes of nothing, I held the power button and now have a slow status bar on the blank Apple screen, so... I'm assuming it's installing. Lol.
Edit: Installed fine. And quicker than any other beta before. Odd.

Yeah I know. I posted the first one. Then remembered about COBs show stopper post. Tried adding the quote to my first post and it messed it right up… had a right middle aged paddy with it. Then I just thought F it… I’ll pretend there’s an echo in here 😜
a lot of these bank apps checks your OS version and go self destruct.

I was able to fix my phone by sliding the black box to the left and picking clear. The phone instantly returned to normal speed and battery usage. I sent a report to apple about the whole experience.
No way! There are websites that when loaded, would pause whatever audio I’m listening to. After many years this has stopped with this beta. Crazy
I can confrim that they are working on my end. But then again, I don’t think I saw them not work to begin with Lol.
For me, "Copy & Delete" from Safari screenshots will put the photo and the PDF into the Files app only when I select "Full page" for the screenshot. Otherwise it puts it into "Recently deleted photos".
The back of my phone is still getting super hot when I am just doing some light surfing on Safari after only a few minutes 🫤

Now it’s at 82% btw. Fresh restore without a back up about a week ago and the battery is only 1,5 months old
Did you do OTA or IPSW update? Asking for a friend.
This build seems very stable at the moment
Minor annoyance happening on 3rd party apps such as youtube stuttering in homepage which does not seem to happening during ios 15 but i guess that was up to developer to use ios 16 compiling kit once stable version is released

Exactly the same here. Can’t access Payment and Shipping, also email saying Amex removed from iPad. Feedback submitted.
On another forum I saw that somebody was having issues using Amex via Apple Pay on beta 5.

Same on iPad and iPhone, spins and goes through to blank retry page. No password prompts thankfully. No Amex here. I'm guessing server side glitch.
No issues on beta 5 but with this beta each devices has removed Amex for Apple Pay over the course of the last 12 hours.
Is it specific to this forum or across the board when on safari?
Hard restarts or reinstall the iOS has sorted this out for me in the past, both really quick to perform and retest, but it could be the adds playing havoc.
Anyone else not really a fan of the new lock screen notification set up?
I don't like that when collapsing notifications into 'count' on the lock screen then makes all notifications deliver this way.
Quite often I will have accidentally collapsed notifications, and then there's two days' worth that need clearing.

I love it. The old way my brain fried looking at a page of things to catch up on, FOMO, or reply to. So I found myself shutting down loads of banners.
Now, I’m slowly reintroducing them, because they can be tucked away and outta my face. Plus you get to see your wallpaper - bonus.

I searched for weather but couldn't see anything about my issue.

I cannot delete and change cities in weather.
I do in delete Cupertino and New York and add four new cities but when I go out and come back in Cupertino and New York are back there and none of my new cities.
Is this is known issue or am I doing something wrong
