Can‘t seem to access Settings app > Apple ID settings (top option) > Payment & Shipping here anymore. Throws me into an endless loop of password incorrect prompts.

Also strangely my Amex was removed from Apple Pay a few minutes ago (got mail that it was successfully removed). Re-added without a problem though.
Tried and no issue. It didn't take the password at first, but I may have entered it wrong. Good after that.

I made a post over in B5 thread by mistake although my following issue started in B5, but I am currently on B6.

With the latest update I am having issues with my cellular connection on 5G and LTE. Some apps work and some apps don't, it is very strange. On Wifi I have no connection issues on any app. Some apps that cannot connect on my cellular connection are MyVerizon, Best Buy, My banking app NavyFederalCreditUnion, even a system app like mail and a few others I cannot remember off the top of my head. I know it is just these apps because other apps and iMessage work and I can access the websites for the above listed companies and log in and do everything needed. My problem is soley just with a select number of apps (I have not tried every single app I have).

I have tried numerous restarts, removal of sim card, turning off cellular within settings..any advice would be greatly appreciated. I was not experiencing this issue on the earlier builds of 16 just this current one and the last one. I am around Wifi majority of the time so it isn't a major issue especially since I can still technically access needed things through Safari because I don't particularly want to do a restore when say the next update could fix the problem.

Could it be that by chance you turned off cellular data for some apps under Settings -> Cellular? (Or that the update turned it off?). Also, can you try a SIM from a different provider?

All apps are turned on to use cellular data, I even tried turning a couple off restarting the phone (just in case) then tried to load an app to confirm that I got the error message, then I turned back on cell data for that app and I still have issues with the apps that are not loading. I will try swapping SIM cards with my wife when we get off work today (she uses a different carrier) then I can try with another Verizon user later today also to possibly see if it somehow is on Verizon.

Works again now after prompting me to enter my Apple ID password twice. Yesterday it kept showing wrong credentials even though I literally tried copying the password into the field.

Seems like a solid build for me. The annoying blank Now Playing screen has been fixed finally and except for one specific issue with the DIRECTV app pretty much everything’s stellar.
Can’t speak for the battery life yet though.

P.S. Jumped on iOS 16 w/ beta 5 via OTA and then OTA’d beta 6 if anyone else is asking for a friend.
no issues with direct tv app here. what issue have you had?

Exactly the same here. Can’t access Payment and Shipping, also email saying Amex removed from iPad. Feedback submitted.

On another forum I saw that somebody was having issues using Amex via Apple Pay on beta 5.
Same here with the Payment and Shipping issue

I’m experiencing a weird battery issue. Right after installing this beta (only after it was made available as public beta), I’ve noticed a fast battery drain - which continues even when the iPhone is on the charger 😳

UPDATE: ok it was the black box… thanks to whoever mentioned earlier in this thread!

I didn’t get in to an ENDLESS loop but I had to enter my password 8-9 times. Also I didn’t lose AMEX on my iPhone or iPad but I did lose it on my Watch. AMEX sent me an email about an hour after installing the latest beta on the Watch.

Unfortunately you have to repeat the multiple password attempts each time you want to go into that setting.

Does this look blurry to you? Especially the the US and Mexico. To me it’s blurry. I feel like I need glasses when I look at it.

Share sheet fixed ?

I’m still having an issue whereby I can’t see the text area I’m typing in, in B5 and now B6, if that’s what you mean.

No. Betas break HSBC, HSBC fixes HSBC.

Never betas fix HSBC.
Actually, it has happened in the past where a beta has come out and HSBC app then worked. It’s once in a blue moon tho. Just not accurate to say beta never fixes HSBC.

You play something and then swipe up to go into PiP mode but when you open the app and try to switch channels, it just says “loading” and plays audio only for a few seconds before the screen locks up.

Battery is Awful.

Do you all think it would help to try reset all settings? However, I did install via IPSW from scratch without even restoring from a backup about a week ago (previous beta). The battery consumption is truly insane on my 12 PM. The back is getting so hot, I feel like I can almost fry an egg and I am doing nothing but surf the web.

I have found that issues can be "fixed" even by performing an "Update" with the IPSW file. For example, b6 (OTA) was giving me issues with wireless and personal hotspot connectivity. Tried hard boots, Reset Network Settings, and all that. I should have known better than to argue with Pearsey - performed an "Update" last evening, and it is much better now. t perfect, but only had one disconnect today so far.
IPSW every time. I know, some would disagree. That's okay, we are all entitled to our own opinions :)
But from your description it sounds more like you have a rogue app or something running in the background, so if you cannot find a solution, you may have to go nuclear.....

If there’s a “black box” on your Lock Screen looking like an empty notification, slide it to the left to get rid of it. This fixed the battery issue and overheating for me.

This is obviously a fairly serious bug. Hopefully everyone is logging those reports. Would be good if you all cross-referenced each other too.
