iPads on ios16.1 that’s why. I think from what I’ve seen on here.

Same here. But it only happens with safari screenshots right? What are they playing at. This weird it hasn’t been fixed a few betas ago.
I hope the next beta fixes the issue where the Home app picks the wrong Home that‘s a few Kilometers away (it keeps defaulting to my parents home here with location switching turned on). At least the Feedback app says there‘s a potential fix incoming.
Wow, that is interesting. Nice catch.
Oddly enough, on my phone, it showed up as just iOS 16.0 (without any beta terminology), so if I were a betting man, I'd say this is the version that's being loaded onto the new iPhones in production right now. That and it's also an "a" build. Obviously it says "beta" in the text description, but I think it would usually show "Beta 7" to the right of "16.0"?

We saw that in beta 1/2, it’s part of the copying an object.
One of my iPhone’s is on Beta 5 (I forgot to update it) and I get it:View attachment 2046332
That screenshot is from Beta 5 and it’s the same on my Beta 6 device too.All I am getting on beta 6 is “Copy” and “Share” as a dialog bubble not a dialog box. I’ll see if that changes when I update to 7 in a few moments.
It's been gone for a while longer than that, at least on everything I'm running betas on except watchOS (the "16.0" is likely either Settings/Software Update reading the wrong string from the update server feed or the beta update server feed having the wrong value where the "iOS 16 Developer Beta xx" string is supposed to be). I'm pretty sure I've been seeing this behavior since beta 3.They dropped the “beta” language in beta 6.
It’s not adding new features, it’s getting Stage Manager sorted, so no, it’s not going to be ‘beta 1 quality’.So should we expect iPadOS 16 Beta 7 to be "beta 1 quality" as they now shifted the build and will likely be adding new features?
It's not just the state manager, as Safari is on 16.1 as well now. I think that this is essentially the first iOS / iPadOS 16.1 Beta and will be released at the same time for iOS and iPadOS in October. It’s not adding new features, it’s getting a stage Manager sorted, so no, it’s not going to be ‘beta 1 quality’.
Think is was already gone for me on 4. I defintely remember it there for 3 when I first entered the beta. Im not sure what Safari has to do with this & of course it’s the first beta for 16.1 as it’s labelled as such. It's not just the state manager, as Safari is on 16.1 as well now. ***impatiently awaiting Public Beta to drop***

I think you’re missing the point in my reply to the other person, answering their question, that we’re not going to see any new features and the stability lf the beta is going to be better than a usual Beta 1.
Except they are not. iPadOS has been delayed according to several articles and posts. As long as they’re being released together, I don’t see why separate threads would be necessary. After all, it should be apparent about which software version one is talking depending on which type of device they’re using.
Different devices and OS’s. iPhone (iOS) is 16.0 and iPad OS is 16.1.So the phones are “a” and the iPads are “f”. Not confusing at all😃
It was noted as a bug fix in the release notesI was hoping someone who had the Amex issue with cards being removed could let me know if re-adding them didn't result in them being removed again a day or so later?
I want to add my cards back but I don't want to keep reprovisioning if they just get removed again.
Thanks 🙏
M1 iPad users: after updating, could one of you post a screenshot of your Settings>General >About screen showing the iOS version number?
I added my Amex cards the same day that they were removed and they are still in the Wallet app. I have also updated to iOS 16 Beta 7 this afternoon and the Amex cards are still in the Wallet, thus far.I was hoping someone who had the Amex issue with cards being removed could let me know if re-adding them didn't result in them being removed again a day or so later?
