I guess nows the time to remind anybody that wants to stay on the public release to remove the Beta Profile.
I don’t plan on running the betas on my 14 Pro Max when I get it Friday

Good point. I usually skip the betas for a few weeks after getting a new phone. Want to enjoy it as it was meant to be enjoyed; not with a battery sucking first beta of 16.1.

Unfortunately, the 2018 iPad Pro isn’t really seeing any of these new cool things. I’m just going to ride that one out until 16.1 is released.

Doing likewise with my 2018 IPP.

I suspect that I will be very interested in the 2022 IPP, that will have all of those nice features and then some.

What apps? I’m not seeing any yet, but it just may be that I don’t have any apps installed whose developers support it 😀

Another one…

Same here , all the time . Can't wait for the new iOS to come out . I don't have the guts to do betas so for me it's really new ! 19H00 my time ...

Thinking of going the OTA route. Will it essentially clean up all the Beta clutter...or would it be better to go ipsw?

Removed beta profile already...I'm ready!

8 apps updated today (so far), 2 yesterday, 3 the day before, 11 the day before that...developers aren't exactly sitting on their hands waiting to be victimized by an iOS update. :)

Try OTA first, much less time-consuming. If you do run into problems, you can always restore later on. ✋

Now that all of the beta websites have been taken down by Apple, what is the best way to get the betas when I get the new phone on Friday? Other than paying that $100 fee if possible which I think is a developer thing. Thanks!

Taken down?

Just enroll your devices on the beta page: https://beta.apple.com/

Edit: Ah - yeah, they've hidden the "enroll your device" links for now - likely reappear in a day or so. Only option available on there is for the MacOS Ventura preview.

(those already on the beta, just don't delete your beta profile).

I thought I had seen an article about Apple suing all of the beta websites people had been using in the past.

I will look at that link I thought Apple was charging to download their betas maybe I was misinformed.
If there's sites posting the IPSW files, then, yeah, Apple's certainly going to go after them legally - they don't want 3rd parties having the ability to distribute their software.

Haven't heard of any changes to their Beta Program policies - Dev access is a paid subscription (you get access earlier than Public participants).
