I don’t think we’ll see iOS 16.1 (final) untill iPadOS 16.1 (final) is released, so there probaly will be a 16.0.1 before that.

its already in beta. So tomorrow we'll see ios16.1 beta 2, because beta 1 has already been out for 2 weeks for the iPad, getting everything back in sync with iPhone and iPad after it split a couple of weeks ago.

I thought I had seen an article about Apple suing all of the beta websites people had been using in the past.

I will look at that link I thought Apple was charging to download their betas maybe I was misinformed.

Apple has a paid (Developers) beta channel and free (Public) beta channel. The major difference between the two is that the public beta testers get their betas later than the developers and only OTA, while the developers can install the betas both OTA and through OSWP files.
