Umm...you mean 16.0.1 - there will most definitely be a patch to this OS, prior to a 16.1 update.

Maybe there will be a 16.0.2 or more - if the "black hat" community is especially industrious.

(though the 16.1 beta is rolling already).

I thought I had seen an article about Apple suing all of the beta websites people had been using in the past.

I will look at that link I thought Apple was charging to download their betas maybe I was misinformed.

They’ve sent cease and desist letters to the third party sites peddling the profiles. If you want the developer profile, you’ll likely need to enroll with Apple and post the annual $99 fee.

We’ll probably see 16.0.1 with the delivery of phones on Friday. Or at latest the following Monday.

As much as I want 16.1 beta 1 .. new phone gets here in a few days so I have to be patient to hop on a new beta train..Those getting a new phone this week I would stay on iOS 16 till everything is transferred just a friendly tip ..

Although there has been quick turnaround in recent years to provide a Beta Profile & .ipsw file for the newly released iPhones, it's all a game of chance. I remember one year having to go thru a day or two on a basic setup with just Messages, Mail, and my Phone until they released a version of that current beta so I could do a Restore.

Some of us just like living closer to the edge than others lol

I’m sure going from a 12 to 15 will be a bigger upgrade for sure next year .. had to get the deep purple phone looked too nice to pass up and its the same price as last years phone for us in the US only bummer is no sim tray ill have to get use to the Esim as I have a mini too that I Ike to use from time to time ..

Probably worh it if you are on 12. i am on 13pmax got it may. So i am skipping 14. and i have to years of Apple care +

I cancelled my day-one 14 Pro preorder because I couldn’t decide on the color 🤦 Now I know Silver is the only option for me…except now it will arrive mid-October.
