iOS 16 Speculation Thread

Since today is a holiday I think Apple may need until next week for 16.4 beta 1.

It's almost the end of January. What holiday? Nah, I'm pretty sure 16.4 beta 1 is coming this week. Apple didn't release an update last week. We are due for one.

Today is not a holiday in the US. And even if it were, what would prevent them from releasing it the next day?

Do you think we are getting iOS 16.3.1 and WatchOS today? I am sure Apple is going to release an update before the public 16.4.

if there is 16.3.1 it won't be 1 week after we just updated, it would be sometime in february

You and I both thought that, although there was a chance today, it was less likely than not. That appears to be the case. But tomorrow is about as close to 100%, in my estimation, as we can get without being in the room where the big red button gets pushed.

I am too. Typically this stage of the development cycle for iOS is the last time we'll see anything interesting new in iOS/iPadOS until WWDC. Let's hope that RealityOS hasn't sucked the oxygen out of that for this year.

• Hard restarts
• Reinstall the iOS with the IPSW.
(takes 15mins on a Mac)
• Still there, then report the bugger.
