Hey guys & girls,
look what Tim found at the weekend...🥳

OOhhh Maybe that's why Biden isn't doing the Superbowl Sunday pregame interview. Tim Cook is doing it instead and announcing iOS 16.4 beta! And will push the release button on national TV!

PS: Will you buy me an iPhone if that happens? :)
So much fantasy there 😂

I think this is getting close to the longest between an official release and a new beta, I think we should be getting something this week after some time off ..

Time off ? With this many major bugs !
Should all be doing overtime until they've fixed their 💩

Happy Monday speculators !
☀️ The weather's great round here, gotta be a good sign🤞

I think the reason 16.4 isn't out in beta is because the latest reports are saying new Macs in April so we are 2 months away, and the new Macs will have the new software, so beta testing could start mid feb

There was a theory that 16.4 had VR headset references, and that Apple is either waiting for the spring event or trying to scrub any references from it.
I’m still not buying that. Anything xrOS (or whatever it’ll be called) reference to code would almost absolutely be in iOS 17 and not a “point” release, and especially not 16.FOUR. There’s already a laundry list of items Apple has officially said was still in the pipeline, and something as major as integrated AR/VR system wide would be more “top level” code-wise, meaning a simple point update wouldn’t suffice.

What if what was started as 17 was changed and shifted to 16.4 🤔😂 I have no idea

iOS 17 is not due until the Fall of 2023. If Apple is expected to announce Apple's AR/VR headset in the Spring of 2023 the upcoming iOS will be carrying the reference codes for xrOS. If Apple plans on announcing it during WWDC then iOS 17 seems more likely. Rest assured, we're NOT too far off.
