iOS 16 Speculation Thread

Well it’s a rainy day in Cupertino again, so probably staying home is not far fetched. We remember how we waited a whole month from 16.3RC to 16.4 beta 1, and floated Grummans stupid rumor about AR taking programmers so to assist that Albatross away from iOS 17 efforts just before it arrived. Yes there is possibility, but rare to have betas released less than a week apart. Looking at MacOS variables Safari/system FW/kernel were all increment version changes still no locking into versions that suggested RC quite yet. Place your bets. At least we have some more news today.
I'll throw in my speculation and say beta 5 today/tomorrow, then RC next week with public release the week thereafter.

It's not even 10:00 AM PDT yet and I'm already starting to lose hope. The struggle is real today.

If tvOS is out first, it will mean iOS and iPadOS will be out tomorrow, if we follow last week's pattern.
It’s to early Mark said it should be a few more weeks and April so there’s time before we see the RC

Is this final? It does not state beta or RC on the download page, I never stopped to look at the initial screen before hitting download. Stupid, huh? Revised: MacRumors home page states that it is 16.4 RC, like normal.

Looks like I was sort of rightReally hoping for tomorrow (I have meetings Wednesday). But either way I hope it’s at least one more beta and then RC earlier next week.
