If it’s that bad and a struggle in life, might be worth jailbreaking your phone then to free you from this torture?
I bet he’d not be happy no matter what. It’s become their standard. 😆😆😆 salty!

Are we going to have to wait for iOS16/ iPadOS 16 until fall I assume, so September or October?

Yea they said Fall. It tends to be between the 15th and 20th September.

I’m going with iOS 16 coming out the w/c 12th September; probably on the Wednesday 14th or Thursday 17th September, with iPhone 14 on the 18th September.

Watch Apple prove me wrong…..

Maybe later due to hardware delays?

Right now, the only hardware rumored to be delayed are the 14 Pro (not the Pro Max). So, unless that changes, I’d say Ansath’s timeline makes sense.
Plus, we've had the models split before, when the iPhone 12 Pro Max & Mini came later to the standard and Pro, so they could repeat that this year, meaning those models not affected come out when I say, and the other models come later.

When is iPhone getting:
1. Split screen use. Particularly, I have my Samsung Z Flip 3, and want to use my IPhone 13 Pro Max sometimes, but I literally web surf in bed while watching YouTube sports vids and it’s not something I’m willing to give up. I’ve tried the rubbish App Store versions of this on iOS but they feel like web browsers from the dial up days. I need ingrained into stock iOS.
2. Audio support for aptx.
3. Being able to flick the edge of the screen to go backwards in the browser instead of the arrow. It’s a bigger game changer than tapping the top of the screen to fly to the top. Get it Mr Cook.
4. Apple always reminds me to get more iCloud storage. I’m really surprised at how un-invasive Samsung is, compared to the barrage of ads for it from apple. Please. I don’t want iCloud. Having to disagree every few days is getting ridiculous.

Beta 1 is like a stable public release for me!
Still waiting for the other shoe to drop…

Generally during the beta process, at some point during testing something gets turned on or off or something happens to break everything, and then you have to wait a week (or two!) for a fix. Hopefully. If I recall, even beta 1 of iOS 13 was ok. And then it was all downhill.

I’m keeping my expectations tempered.
;)

1. Seems like a fit for PiP, which has been around for a long time
3. That's been a thing about as long as I can remeber

There was no beta process for iPhoneOS 1. There was no information for the length of time for beta 1 for iPhoneOS 2... the average length of beta 1 for iPhoneOS/iOS v3 through 15 was just over 15 days... shortest was iOS 4 (12 days) and the longest was iOS 10 (22 days).

So you’re the reason why green bubble peasants think we’re the wallhuggers (b1‘s battery life is hit or miss at best) and why my phone is consistently warm?
In my case, it overheats me due to the combination of the episode of extreme heat that we are suffering these days/weeks in Spain and that the weather app was constantly running in the background. and that I do not have any widget on the lock screen, I have only one on the left screen, and in ios 15 it never runs. Now I almost always have more than 5 hours of use with the screen off, and all of them are from the apple weather app. I uninstalled it and my phone cooled down and the battery consumption improved somewhat.

I suppose we will have beta 2 next week, but for beta 3 do you think we will have to wait two weeks again, or will we enter a weekly cycle?
