Interested to see how it affects the battery health on my IP13PM

After installing previous years, I noticed a big dent on battery health percentage.

I am on the latest iOS15 beta and currently at 100% health….. preparing the iOS16 B1.

Will report back

it’s pretty interesting that iphone 7 gets dropped but the iPad 5 doesn’t
Ruins my night cause I have a dedicated beta iPhone 7..

Your battery health is probably not at 100% anymore. iPhone batteries are organic material that degrades with use. The health indicator is nothing more than an estimate that recalibrates once every leap year or occasionally when you install updates. I wish Apple would just downgrade the indicator to „Good“ and „Needs servicing“ so people stop fearmongering about their batteries health.

I mean, you probably noticed already that your iPhone performs worse than the day you got it in terms of battery life, right?

I think you can customize clock font and add widgets but won't be able to change the camera and flashlight apps

Yeah your right.

Add widgets, but light and camera short cuts are still fixed.

Yeah, understood and agreed…. Just seems a little odd to reflect changes in the UI at iOS upgrade times

ios needs a major UI upgrade since we did not see it with IOS 16 may be IOS 17 will bring it

Why, exactly? I see people saying this, but don't expand on it, or at least don't give anything substantial with it. I much prefer they spend time doing core things, updating certain things to be more feature rich. We can customise the toolbars in apps, like Notes now, etc.

Here here!

That new lockscren is definitely an indicator that AOD is coming with iPhone 14 model(s).

You’re right. I noticed the gallery icon on the left but that’s while in Lockscreen edit mode.

Is there an easier way to get to the lock screen versus hitting the power button and then tapping the screen?

Now that I can edit it, I want to bring it up easier.

Swipe from the top? I know that's notification centre, but since they were one and the same, in 15, I assume same in 16 (not installed on my iPhone yet, leaving that a few days)

Christ...yes...that actually works. Swipe from top left and then long press on screen.
