Beta 3 will be released next week with PB1... It will be July.
Just think iOS 17 we will have your handy little page to refer back to and have spot on dates and times. Boom 👊🏼
So when get b3, public will get our b2 as their b1, correct?

No, it‘s usually the latest dev beta that is released as PB. When DB3 releases, it‘s probably a week after that that the PB1 hits (mainly as a safeguard in case the beta build bricks devices).
Later on they release PBs closer to DBs (e.g. a day or a few hours after the DB hits) as the release gets more stable.
Last year was kind of a fluke since they released a slightly modified version of the second beta and then released the first public beta the same day. So, if you didn't count that minor update, public beta was a week after the second developer beta.
The next couple of public betas were 1-2 days after the developer beta's release before eventually moving to same day releases.

Regardless of Monday being a holiday, the odds of there being an additional 3rd week before a 3rd beta release is unlikely. I would assume Wednesday the 6th for b3 with the possibility of pb1 coming out the 7th.
They did release last year during this week. Fully expect same this year.
Ppl may be on vacation. Not just Monday. We got lucky last week. Usually 2 week intervals at first in the beginning. Even past a few times 15 days. Then when closer to release will be weekly’s.
We didn't get lucky, Apple sticks to a schedule that's long determined before people decide to take an extra day off. There's been plenty of times when there's been a holiday on a Monday and then we get another update that Wednesday. And since b2 came out 6 days ago, two weeks from then would be July 6.
Don’t forget, it might be called PB2, as last year and think year before, PB1 was only to Appleseed.

I believe you are mistaking my reference to “this week” to be the week we’re in when I was referring to the week of the 4th. Admittedly, less clear than I should have been.
I think we need a whole other topic for beta name prediction after the mind**** that was iOS 15 naming last year. Kept switching between „iOS 15 Beta X“, „Developer Beta x“ and „Public Beta X“
People in the chats keep saying the same misleading stuff every year.
To be clear, all previous years, with no exception, the first PB (name PB1 or PB2) is the DP2. And it usually comes out the same or the following week after DP2 is released. So expect public beta this week even if they said next month. It would be an exception after many years if they do something differently.

Yeah. That’s not going to happen.
Gurman and co. said that they‘ll do PB with DB3 due to „bugs & stability issues“. Seems far fetched cause the beta seems pretty stable already.
