iOS 16 Speculation Thread

Sometimes they don’t even release the week in which such a major holiday falls.
Either way, holiday or not, I feel as though a third round of developer betas (as well as a first round of public ones) will come the business week of July 11-15.
However, the Independence Day holiday is not one of those major holidays. Those tend to be limited to Christmas and New Years.
Don't forget Thanksgiving, if they're having a good year and feeling generous, they'll shut down for that week.
General consensus is this coming week, most likely July 5th or 6th.
I know you are trying to be funny over the whole American / European date format, but there really was no way to see that as the 7th of April... ;^p

Yeah, it's a good feature.
For me, the date format with the least confusion is the ##ABC#### format; for example, the Fourth of July this year, that would be 04JUL2022...

For me, the main advantage of communication through Messages is the ability to think about what you want to say before sending. But yeah, for the occasional typo or Siri auto-correct blunder it’ll be nice.
I don't think they'll come out guns blazing after the holiday and release it tomorrow (or today if you're in Europe). But I think Wednesday.

Just makes sense to have the day, month you're in, then the year.
Never understood going the month, the day, the year... seems like a backwards start.
