my opinion is weekly on Mondays going forward since its crunch time.
Almost certainly weekly, but not sure which day of the week. They really threw things for a loop with Monday’s release.
apple has managed to shut down betaprofiles.com and ipsw.dev

It’s probably creating more harm than good. Maybe a rise in bricked phones going into the stores or holding up the phones has suddenly flagged on their radar to do something about it.
I don't think it's any of this, I attribute it more to the great popularity that they were beginning to gain, especially because of the tutorials that are seen on YouTube.
Bottom line, they were illegally propagating Apple’s intellectual property. They were probably sent several cease and desist letters and action only taken when they did not stop.
With public betas available to anyone for free, I do not understand what the attraction of side-loading these IPSW files is nowadays. Just to get the same beta a few weeks/days/hours earlier?
I still find it odd, though, after all these years that Apple would suddenly 'enforce' this. I'm worried apps like this will also stop working:

This app is great! It's just accessing Apple's own public web link to the latest (or whichever) signed release. And then what about Apps like Xcode?

It would be a real shame if Apple shut these down as well.

I really hope so. It would be nice. Expecting a new beta on this upcoming Monday
ota updates have generated many problems for me, which have been solved with an update with the ipsw file. I consider that having this option available is always a better guarantee of solving possible errors that you see that only you have, instead of waiting a week or two for the next OTA to see if it is solved.
The truth is that I don't think so. knowing apple, they are capable of launching beta 6 next thursday hehe
But hopefully yes, that would mean a good start to the week

Looks like Apple Event is going to be on September 7. It's possible official iOS 16 will drop to the public on September 13, 2022, 10:00 AM PST?

This is a good point. However, we are talking about betas, so if you are not a developer (who has access to Apple’s IPSW files anyway), it is probably not a good idea to install and run beta on a device you need to depend on. Once the public release is out for all, we get our full installation files via Files or iTunes, if needed.

Depending on when the event is going to be. It would be nice if pre-orders are scheduled for the 16th. I don’t want to wait an extra week. Apple is ahead of the schedule tho. So that’s good.

It's been a very long time. I personally think it will be on a Tuesday this year.

Must be nice. I did that last weekend. Went to Oxnard but it wasn’t long enough. Came back to a nice suprise of the beta. Need a longer vacation to distract myself. I am going to New York City on September 1st, ☺️
