This is what I don't understand. macOS is my no. 1 system where I spent most of the time. There are M1 and M2 chips, so I expected they put more love in macOS and put its release more priority.
You do realize that the vast majority of Apple's users are iPhone owners not mac owners right? Just because you spend time in macOS does not make macOS a priority for Apple. They sell billions more dollars worth of iPhone than mac every quarter - iOS is the priority.

I can see the RC being released today… even if it’s far from being ready to be released.
Been running it for the past week and it's been alright. No serious issues that I've noticed other than local search being a little slow. But I'm incredibly picky so don't mind that.

Tim Apple all done with the presentation. Now rushing to the secret room through the air vent tunnels to finally press the huge golden button to launch the iOS Release Candidate to all of us eager impatient folks. Woo hoo.

You know there’s different teams working on MacOS than iOS and watchOS? You want them to put more into it, but then rush it out? 🤔

Anybody remember how long after the presentation ends they release it? Seems like it was like half an hour if I remember correctly

Might be an hour. Might be longer. We’ll just find out when someone that’s constantly refreshes posts haha.

Edit: I found a 9to5mac article from last year that was 11:46 San Diego time when RC was out to Devs.

Yes the presentation is over, we have to wait some hours to receive RC, also Public Beta will come out tomorrow so… anyway the 12/13 is very close so it’s just a matter of short time
