The update is not published but, strangely, my iPhone is aware, and just feels snappier.🤪
The iPhone can feel it's gonna get a new dress. Totally explains why it's dancing and feeling snappy. New dress will arrive soon! It'll be "tomorrow", except tomorrow will be another tomorrow, then another tomorrow ad infinitum. 😁

I really didn't expect it today, since RC2 just released last Friday. It's not a lot of time for users to send feedback. Maybe it'll be out on Thursday, or maybe next Monday.

Thursday seems likely, or even Friday.

I suppose I too would usually have thoughts so too. But from what was announced by whatever French authorities, it seems definite that the update would happen today, Oct 24th. There's still time as there are a little over 3 hours before it's the 25th, but at the same time, I have never heard of Apple pushing out updates so late in the day. But, it also could be that reporters misreported on the date and what French authorities said. I don't recall the articles I read to be quoting French authorities directly....

ANFR - Information on Apple’s software update
Apple developed a software update that the ANFR was able to approve as it effectively brings the “limb” SAR below the regulatory limit of 4 W/kg. This update was first released a few days ago to a number of volunteer Apple clients (“beta-testers”). Apple has committed to extend the software patch to all French iPhone 12 users on the 24 October at the latest.

I’ve already missed having the feature on my 9 like 9 times since release… this is getting aggravating…

To all those who think the accessibility is at all the same, hah!

These people probably think Samsung has an offering as good as or better than apple’s studio display for less than half the price!

New terms of service agreement dropped today on ASM. New releases often come after that happens.

Is this an issue for most people?
I think the reason people are anticipating this update more than other .x updates is that this round of .0s across the board have some noticeable and nettlesome bugs. This includes a little bit of stuttering/lag on animations, etc. I've used iOS/tvOS/macOS for about 9 years now, and this does seem to be more than normal. The hope is that at least some of them will be addressed with this update.
