Apple is expected to announce iOS 17 during its WWDC 2023 keynote on June 5, which is just over a month away.
33 days to go give or take 10 mins from this point in time.

But this year is worse than waiting for Christmas because of all the OS changes people would like and some badly needed hardware announcements.

Out of all the features listed, I am most excited about the new CarPlay, provided we can get it on the cars that already support CarPlay V1. ✌️

Please can we have a Contacts app in CarPlay! Never understood why this wasn't included in version 1.0

Are that it, the supposed "headline" features are these? Erm, yawn. Very very yawn.
This should be a yawning release, but it should bring stability.
Currently the only reason I don't yawn at iOS is when I'm raging at all the bugs I encounter in my daily activities. This is maddening.

What does "only in the EU mean"? Does the user physically have to be in the EU? Does it have to be an iPhone that is sold in the EU? Does it have to be activated the first time in the EU? How would Apple enforce those restrictions?
If you want sideloading in the US, you will probably have to buy a phone sold in the EU, activated on an EU carrier, and have a EU carrier plan.

Really looking forward to WWDC just to end the anticipation. This will not be the only time an article like this is written. Heck, it might be written again this week.

I've been interested more in TVOS and the Watch Update that I really don't know what to think about IOS 17. I still think Apple Music can be cleaned up and the user interface could be a whole lot better. I also would love more wallpaper choices, and interactive widgets. I also think they need to rethink notifications and the lock screen. IOS 16 has made the LS and notifications not great.

The most interesting thing here is sideloading. Sounds like a boring update! Unless Apple reveals more stuff that is actually exciting then I'll just stay on iOS 16 until I feel it's worth upgrading. Yaaaaawn 🥱

How will apple implement sideloading will it be EU only? If so, will there be a separate iOS build for the EU and another for the rest of the world? If not, then couldn’t non-EU users who want to sideload use a VPN to masquerade as an EU user and gain sideloading privileges?

Perhaps apple will use location services.

Apple is completely overhauling the ui and bringing the biggest update to iPhone OS in history, all this baby stuff was just to catch the leakers.
