no one uses find my much and wallet, we just use Apple Pay but I never go into the app, we want exiting changes
As someone who needs to check in on where my older parents are, I use Find My all the time. I also have lots of AirTags in luggages and backpacks because we travel a lot, and we all use Find My to either locate them or to ensure they're safe.

Please dear god let “airplay upgrades” mean a Spotify connect type feature. That’s the one thing Spotify really holds over apple music. Let me control what’s playing on my iPad from my phone

Every WWDC, I hope for this. Every year, I’m disappointed.

Has anyone ever used SharePlay? I feel like every year they add useless stuff and ignore the things that are in dire need of attention.
nope, especially when you factor in (my life at least) that so many of us are sharing accoun-

oh wait, nevermind, forgot Netflix got even worse than it already was

I really hope they fix airplay with speakers going out of sync and the horrible interface when you have a lot of speakers (constantly changing the order and hiding the speakers in a folded up list is so annoying)
I hope they do this without releasing airplay 3 which makes all of our airplay 2 products obsolete

Except when Microsoft/Adobe/Blizzard/etc...pull their apps and force you to sideload.
Like what they did on Android that allows sideloading for years you mean?

Yeah no…

Getting really tired of people coming with these crappy excuses, same with USB-C, people complain not because bad stuff is going to happen, or because new things are bad.

People complain because “their holy apple” does allow something that others did for years.

Using Apple devices for years, but this aspect of some apple “fanboys” has never changed sadly (because this behaviour goes to that level, they don’t buy apple as a user)

Don’t like it? Then don’t use it

Simple

Did it make sense to setup infrastructure for only a single mobile platform that doesn't even earn the most mobile dollars? No.
Getting really tired of people thinking sideloading has zero consequences ESPECIALLY when Epic was willing to give up millions of dollars per year in hopes of being able to force sideloading on all of their customers. Yeah...no...yeah...

Don’t like it? Then don’t use it

Simple

Don't like not being able to sideload? Buy an Android. Simple. Not hard to follow your own advice. 😂

I hope he’s right, because Wallet isn’t exactly user friendly. I hope they make it an icon on iPadOS instead of making me go to settings -> scroll down to Wallet -> and see a very slimmed down version
No kidding! I don't know what the designers were thinking when they made the Wallet app? I find that except for the pretty representations of physical cards, the rest is garbage.

For example? I had to look all over the place when I wanted to set up the new Apple Savings account feature. Nothing about that was remotely obvious in the UI -- when as far as I'm concerned, it should have had its own prominent place on the home screen to launch it.

The gift cards in it don't seem to sync in real time with actual balances, either. I had virtual Starbucks cards in Apple Wallet that claimed to have balances but were actually invalid/used up ones. I guess Apple assumed you'd manually delete those after they were used up -- but seems to me it should handle that automatically.

I hope the wallet on iPad will be revamped. Currently the UI for wallet access on iPad makes zero sense. You have to go into the Settings, then select Wallet to look at details for cards, etc. I get that the hardware to use iPad for "tap" payments doesn't exist, but it doesn't make sense from a user experience perspective that to access wallet details one goes to "Settings".
These type of weird iPad differences cause weird problems. I set up my home network on iPad, but then my home lock would not give the shared iPhones keys…because it started on the iPad and it cannot touch to open. Had to reinstall everything….still doesnt let my wife accept an invitation….

This is correct. Sideloading will not be optional. It will be mandatory in no time….I wish people would stop pretending. In no time some app from work or school or whatever will decide that an alternative store is better or they dont need to work with apple and you will be forced if you want to continue to function with your phone normally. Side loading ruins it or everyone who doesnt like it…but those who want it have options right now. After sideloading there will be no where to go for the people who like apples system.

As someone who travels a lot for work, I use it to watch shows with with my wife that we are bingeing while I’m in a hotel. I use it probably 2-3 times a month. It’s nice. Could I live without it? Absolutely.

Gotta say Find My is an unappreciated feature!
I was at a friend's graduation ceremony a few days ago and got a phone alert that an AirPod was missing. Followed the map in Find My to the Bag Check area where it had fallen loose while my bag was being checked, and the security guard handed it over as soon as he saw me wandering around looking at the Find My map :)
Hopefully they’ll let you use the UWB chip in newer iPhones and Apple Watches to precise locate your device, just like an AirTag.

Yes! I played some music with my Nephew while he was at his house. Was a lot of fun!
I use it with friends and family pretty often. My BF and I also use it when one of us is traveling so that we can do certain exercises together.

I’m not sure how it even works, I’ve only noticed a button for it in the FaceTime app.
