Maybe speaking too soon, but my 15PM doesn’t feel as warm in use since updating last night. It feels cool right across device with no warm spots… 🤞🏻😁

This is also the longest my battery has stayed at 100% compared to the last few betas. It usually started to drop around 30mins 😃

I‘m surprised how stable these betas are on my 13 Pro Max. The optimized battery charging does also work every night without significant locations enabled.
Is it just me or the battery life on beta seems much better than 17.6.1?

How far from Alarm does the Optimised Chaging turns off and starts charging in your case? 1h or something like 2.5 ? Does it adapt to different Alarms or takes always the same hour?
Asking as they for sure improved it I think as it kicks always and really keeps 80% even when used since 2-3 Betas.
My optimised battery charging works (iPhone 11) despite not having alarms set. It must have worked out that I usually take my phone off the charger at a similar time most days.
(It shows yellow as I have an automation that puts the phone in low-power mode when connected to a charger. The only reason I do this is because of a bug where automations with speech will stutter unless in low-power mode. This may be fixed but I've not edited my automation yet to take that out.)

FB14683390, think I sent it in around beta 4 or 5. Connect account just goes into this loop of sign in via the web or can’t find your details when it looks you up.

This is strange, as all of us on beta have the same beta logging as you, yet not many suffer from the heat issues that you describe.
You may need to look closer into your installed third party apps (games?). Are you using your iPhone outside in the sun?
Have you tried the usual beta troubleshooting? Like hard reset and IPSW installation?
Hard reset I tried already, but IPSW installation I can’t do, I do not have a computer - I have to go to the Apple Store for this, that’s why I wait for the RC on 9/9
And after hard reset my phone gets hot like hell and cpu usage is at 100%!
Your comments have me so nervous to try this out on my daily iPhone. Between these and the comments over on Reddit about CarPlay not working lol.
6hrs SoT and still at 53%. Don’t remember seeing this kinda performance on my 13P even on iOS 16. Desperately hoping they don’t screw it up in the RC.
