I always wondered whether disabling keychain, doing the network reset, then re-enabling keychain would be a way to avoid having all the network passwords zapped.

Does anybody else experiencing having their iPhone heating up when using safari and browsing MacRumors ?
No..both my 15 plus and 15 pm are not getting warm even while charging and using.
My 15PM is on 18.1 beta 3
I think there's a decent chance we get a new beta today. That's just my opinion though but I feel like there's a few things that still need ironing out.
Please don't kill me for a dumb question. But are app developers required to make their icons change to dark mode by official release? I'd say about 20% of the icons on my phone still don't change. Just curious, that's all as this has been my biggest complaint with Android app theming, so I assume Apple will be different.
Someone else sometimes loses all of the miniatures in Safari Favorites page / new page ?
So letters are shown instead of pictures.
Classic IT fix - turning it off and on (Safari) fixes it for some time.

Don’t know because I got my 15 pm early July and had to get it to iOS 18 beta because my watch did not wanted to pair with my new phone because it was already on watchOS 11 beta.
So sadly I don’t know
That’s why I hope it gets better with the official release of iOS 18.
At this point it's been an Apple thing... though I would guess that some developers will and some won't make the changes in their apps once the iOS 18 Xcode apps are released.
My 15PM is still having heating and battery drain issues. Very annoying and I fear this will continue with the public release.

I’ve never had that message appear on my 15 PM but also having heating and therefore battery drain issues.
Let’s hope it will be gone with RC next week, because I don’t know what to do when it does not get resolved…

Absolutely. Our iPhones have turned into mini heaters but it is supposed to be a time to run the air conditioner on, not the heating system.
Here’s a fun MagSafe accessory based on PC cooling fans that can cool down an iPhone… it’s specifically designed for mobile gaming but as beta testers, the struggle is real. We have experienced this every summer we beta test iOS.
So no more betas until the RC next week?? We’ll just have to wait and see. Hopefully this will get resolved…
Are you guys sure this is not linked to a third party app you both might be using, which might have not been optimised for iOS 18 yet? What happens when you look into Settings > Battery usage by apps?
Yay Verizon updated their app today. We no longer have to sign in every time.
Same problem on my side. iPhone heats up when mobile data are used. (15 Pro) Battery usage - Safari, Spotify.
The app at the top of my battery usage is X formally Twitter. I get heating issues when using stock apps, photos for example and when editing wallpapers & Home Screen. May do a reset and restore after the next beta/RC if no better.
