iPhone 15 Plus running the latest public beta of iOS 18. I’ve had this message in battery settings for four days now. My battery life hasn’t been great since this latest beta release and I’m wondering if this is why. I’ve restarted the phone today and it’s still there. Is this happen to anyone else? Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!
I had it with another beta. It will eventually go away by itself. Your phone is performing background tasks that could go on for a week. When it’s done it will go away. It’s normal and will improve performance of your phone.

Let's see when they will release it. This beta has been quite flawless, instead of previous beta versions of iOS
There is no benefit to Apple to release the final version earlier than expected. An RC release next week gives another week to find last minute bugs.

A lot of years the final release is a few builds newer than the RC release - meaning it’s better on the whole due to that week in between.

I‘d say it is a mediocre release. Still many painpoints and unfixed issues I reported that grind my gears and will be there when this hits public.

Does iOS filter spam? AFAIK that’s the task of the Mail account provider (Microsoft, google, etc)
I use a.mac email address so wondering if that in conjunction with thr new iOS has made a difference. It's too coincidental to not have made a difference 😂

Just came across this issue, open the photos app, click search icon and when you type the letters Pa the app crashes.
Reported on FB15008672 if anyone else has the same issue.

It’s an iPhone 14 Pro
I’m able to reproduce this bug on my 15 Pro Max.

Edit: I force quit the photos app and restarted and can no longer reproduce the bug. I did manage to screen record and report it though before it went away.

Does visual look up work for anyone in photos? Mine completely stopped working the latest betas. I select a photo of a plant or a building (Eiffel tower) and the info button no longer has the stars symbol or identify what it is. Tried a lot of photos and none trigger visual lookup.

Visual look up works fine on my B8 devices. Also can‘t remember it ceasing to function in previous builds.

What does that mean?

Just started having random WiFi issue today…anyone else? It will show I’m connected but I can’t download or upload anything. When I switch networks it works again for several hours then happens again

The only way I can see this thread is to search for it, the 18.1 beta 3 thread is gone too, anyone else?
