I have reviewed this thread and cannot determine if the following bug has been removed in any of the betas:

Settings> Privacy & Security > Wired Accessories. You cannot change the setting from "Always Allow".

A message says the following: "This setting is managed by your organization and cannot be changed"

This is a significant security issue and will allow 3rd party chargers that are hacked to get access to your phone's content.

I am on 26.0.1 and it is a private phone that is not managed by any MDM software.
Do you use the Content & Privacy restrictions within the screen time settings? I use this on my iPhone to lock down my Apple account settings as a secondary level of protection should my iPhone be accessed by another person they will have this additional barrier before they can lock me out of my own Apple account. It does prevent changes on some settings that are not always obvious. It might be worth disabling this setting and make your change and then re-enable the setting again to restore the additional protection.

Not sure if this will have any impact on the issue but I have found a few settings that I cannot change until I remove the restriction in screen time. Worth a check?

Looks like edge highlights on the Home Screen don’t get stuck anymore.

There’s now a blur below the expanded address bar in safari.

Search field no longer moves to the right when swiping between pages quickly.

Closing menus no longer leaves a little dot on screen over the text.

So far this update is looking really polished!
They also fixed the home app. I can change the colors of my lights now.

They also fixed widgets from getting blurry temporarily when you close them.

I al LOVING beta 4!!!

Missed my alarm this morning for the first time in months. My Apple Watch never made a noise - I’m wondering if Breakthrough Mode is messed up. Woke up an hour late and saw that both the watch and phone were still on the alarm screens, but neither were making noise and the watch was not vibrating. Very odd. Both on Beta 4.

Yeah, I’m seeing the same thing on my 17 Pro — the numbers on the keypad end up underneath the menu. Definitely feels like a bug in this latest beta. Hopefully they catch it and fix it in the next update, because it’s pretty annoying when you’re trying to dial quickly.

The UI is laughably horrible in some areas. When you create a new timer and label it, the keyboard completely obstructs what you’re typing-

It seems like it’s only an issue if you have no recent timers though, like if you deleted the recents.

Hey, does anyone have this problem?

when I open the numeric keypad to dial a phone number on my iPhone 17 pro, the numbers end up under the menu at the bottom

Yup, same thing happening to me. Apps stuck “downloading” and won’t update. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
In the App Store, select each app and tap the progress indicator to stop it from downloading and put it in its "update" state. Force-close the App Store and power ON/OFF the iPhone at least 2 times and that should fix it, at least that fixed it for me yesterday.

You have to pull up from the top and you will see what typing
It’s still incorrect behavior though. The way it’s supposed to work, and how it works across the system, is that the keyboard is supposed to sit right below the text field. You shouldn’t have to swipe up.

And anyway, swiping up doesn’t work if you have no recents.

Woo! I’m happy we can customize Liquid Glass! I really hope this new update fixes the battery drain issue I’ve been having on my 15 Pro.
Same and same.
I don’t really mind LG anymore, what I mind are the visual bugs because of it. And I don’t think this toggle will fix any of those.
Let’s see.
