Installing on my 17 Pro

Battery percentage isn’t updating like normal for me. Only when I restart the device, the battery number updates.

I'm expecting 26.1 to drop next Monday.

1. App redraw fixed
2. Safari Fixed
3. OS 26 is finally fixed.

Did they fix the missing phots tab in a person text thread ? Photos did not transfer over and its a know issue and all over the apple community form ...I have tried al the fixes people said to try an no luck .. Its even missing on apple employees phones !

No. This bug is still not fixed.

Come on Apple! Fix this photo missing in iMessage. I’ve sent feedback and logs and screen recordings and all the things. Apple still say it’s a known bug but here we are in b4 and it’s still not fixed- at least for me

Anyone else have this issue and had it fixed in b4? I did OTA update.

App outline redraw is there in battery saver mode. That’s ok for me.
It’s fixed in the regular mode

Interesting. So the app outline redraw was happening intentionally as a battery saving measure. That would mean that battery might be worse in regular mode now. Hmmm

Turned on the new "tinted" option (it makes the most visible change to notifications on the lock screen) and decided I don't want to live in the past, so turned it back to the drippy glass option.

Disabled "swipe to open camera from lock screen" and feel very happy about that! It almost made me forget that these minor issues still aren't fixed:

* A shortcut which turns AOD on or off (not toggle) will crash if AOD is already in that state
* Can't create stacked widgets on the Today screen

What do you mean by shortcut crashing?

Seeing no difference.

Same with control centre (light mode)

At this point and all this mess with Liquid Glass over the 26 betas and 26.0 I wouldn’t be sure

Looks like edge highlights on the Home Screen don’t get stuck anymore.

There’s now a blur below the expanded address bar in safari.

Search field no longer moves to the right when swiping between pages quickly.

Closing menus no longer leaves a little dot on screen over the text.

So far this update is looking really polished!

So much better than 26.0 so far. A lot of polish with animations and the keyboard alone that makes it look and run so much more solid.

not here, just tested running the incoming 20 post b4-Updates which are installing perfectly

I keep seeing conflicting reports. Some say it’s great. Others say it’s buggy and stuttery. Holding off till release cause I don’t wanna risk it on the Air.

Risk what on the Air? People run it on anything it runs on, from iPhone 11 onwards. 🤔

Restart your iPhone and try again. Happened to me several times under Beta 3

The new tinted glass is awesome simply because it don't dim the lock screen wallpaper as soon as I have just one notification. I really like liquid glass, but the lock screen dimming just look awful as soon as I receive one notification or listening music.

Yep, 17 pro here. 2 updates still hanging from yesterday and 2 more this morning. And no I’m not on a managed device. Thought it might be related to the AWS issue yesterday but I believe that’s all corrected now.

I’ve had this problem since iOS18 and it occasionally happens from time to time.

Try starting the apps that are stuck updating. And then check again if they still show the updates, if yes press „Update“ and it should work.

What do you mean by shortcut crashing?

The action to turn AOD on if it's already on (or off if already off) hangs for a few seconds then aborts the shortcut at that point.
