Hey dude! I see you know about iPhones pretty well. Can you help me with some strange issue above I attached the video😕
And additional video with strange issue when the brightness goes up look at the bottom of the screen. Idk I haven’t seen this before since July when I bought iPhone 16 pro max but when I updated to the iOS 26 I noticed it since 4 days
Auto brightness OFF

I don’t see any brightness or dimming oddities in this or your other posts. I’m not saying there isn’t one - maybe it’s just not coming across clearly in the videos, maybe it’s my eyesight. But, personally, I can’t see the issue you’re referring to.

As nobody else seems to be complaining about this in any iOS 26 threads I’ve seen, maybe you should take the phone to get looked at and/or contact Apple support in case it’s a hardware fault.

You keep posting this over and over but nobody can help you, obviously.

My take on it: I don't see any issue, really. This is so subtle it's not visible. If it bothers you that much, switch to dark mode, you won't see it anymore.
you haven’t seen a brightness up at the bottom of the screen?

26.1 keeps deleting my control center home controls. After upgrading it deleted them, added them again. Restarted my phone to fix the full lockscreen artwork not working (still ongoing glitch) and it deleted the again smh
I’m having the same issue. After every restart they get deleted. I reinstalled via IPSW with no luck.

The modem has n 26.1 is trash. Thanks apple for putting a new modem in these and making it cut out intermittently.

I wish Apple would stop being so cheap to save money ey for putting internally designed hardware in devices and then test in production.

26.2 supposedly resolves this issue but good lord. I hate getting on betas and waiting 4 months almost before they get a product stable vs launching a stable device and mostly stable OS.

Tim Cook should be canned but money talks and QC walks.

has anyone noticed that it's not possible to disable website tinting in safari? after disabling the option in the settings, it continues to happen as if it were enabled.

iOS/iPadOS v. 26.1 had some reported fixes with WiFi disconnects on Wifi 6E and 7 Apple devices. I have been getting disconnects on my iPhone 16 Pro and iPad 2024 for a year now. At best, I could go 5-6 days with no disconnects, then I would have stretches of 3-5 a day. It seemed to be related to the device waking from sleep, or moving between satellites and routers on a mesh network.

So I upgraded to 26.1 as my first foray into iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS 26. I am now on day 12 with zero disconnects - and I have been testing the failure scenarios, locations in the house where I saw disconnects; it's been perfect.

Has anyone seen adaptive power turn on yet at all? And do you need to have Apple Intelligence turned on for this feature to work?

I’ve had my 17 pro for over 2 weeks and today I left my phone on streaming football games for like 6 hours at work and it says I’m using quite a bit more battery than usual which is correct and I’m just curious at what threshold of higher usage you need to use in order for it it kick in? I feel like today’s usage would maybe do it but it hasn’t. Maybe you really have to be hammering the battery with games hard with huge drops in battery to make the system go into the mode. I still have 54% battery with 7 hours 41 minutes of screen on time which I feel is insanely good. Not worried but just wondering if/how adaptive battery works.

Since updating to iOS 26.1, including Release Candidate, my phone keeps reconnecting to Wi-Fi. This didn't happen with iOS 26.0.1.

I've had it enabled since the iOS 26 betas and I've never seen it in action. I don't really know in what situations it works, even though I have notifications enabled when it's running, but it's never happened. I'm starting to think it's just a decorative feature, haha.

I just mentioned, that with iOS 26.1 when I call someone and they answer call my phone no longer vibrates like before. Only when other side ended call. With previous version phone vibrates also on call answer and it was awesome feature.
Anyone else mentioned this?

I just placed a call now and it vibrated when the other side answered. There is an option to disable that in iOS 26.1. Maybe you have it disabled? Or maybe you have it enabled and are hitting a bug? In that case a reboot should help.

I just noticed flight tracking doesn't work anymore on iOS26, or is it just me? Nothing showing up in Spotlight on both macOS and iOS when typing in the flight number. I have Apple Intelligence all turned off, maybe that's why?
