iOS 26.2 RC― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

If it makes you feel any better, it happens on macOS as well. And it’s occurring with device generated screenshots, so it’s not like the file format is invalid.

If you click blank one, you can see the image, so it’s just not generating the previews.

It does feel a little like they’re making it up as they go along.

I’m not sure how Federighi is still in charge with the state of iOS, Siri and apple AI to be honest.

I got photos sent to me yesterday and they don’t show up even blank in the gallery. They are missing entirely

And then the blank squares look like this:

I only install via IPSW… I just don’t use the crap tool you seem dead set on using… (even though you know it’s crap and complain about it constantly)

I don’t think I read a single positive comment from you about that tool. Please tell us what makes it so good that you KEEP going back to it?

1. It exists
This is the modern software that Apple makes for windows users to use so this is what I am stuck with, without resorting to 3rd party alternatives which I do not prefer
 
can someone please tell me if it's now possible to disable website tinting in safari?

in ios 26.1, it remained enabled even after being disabled in settings

I imagine you are having the same issues I have with my MS Windows 8 phone connecting to my M5 MacBook… just errors all the time and I am quite vocal on the MS forums about that too…

I feel your pain totally… I imagine it’s similar to my issues. I have a MS Windows 8 phone and have constant problems when updating with my M5 MacBook Pro. I am facing constant update issues…. I am very vocal on the MS forums about it. Keep reporting.

Battery life is still complete garbage on this RC. iPhone 15 Pro and I have most notifications and location stuff off in settings and AI off as well. This is my battery life on LTE.

Another alternative is to download a virtual machine and install macOS on it.

While another known third party tool isn’t exactly desirable to use at least it works (unlike apple devices lol)
