My biggest annoyance with 26.2.1 was the constant app reloading, and battery life took a big hit ever since I updated to 26.2 from 18.6.3. And this strange blank keyboard that has happened twice, both times it happened when it prompted me to enter passcode. Never looked forward to an update like to 26.3 before.

that would be an awesome wallpaper if it spun around

Anyone have input if i should update to 26.3 from 18.7.2 on my 15 Pro? This is the longest I have ever waited on upgrading my OS.

If you don't mind the new design, it’s not so bad anymore. Battery life may take a bit of a hit, but it’s pretty stable at this point

Would recommend trying a family member or friend's phone who has updated just to see if you like it, since there's no going back

I went from 18.6.3 to 26.2 on my 16 Pro about a month ago and I wish I hadn't. It too was the longest I've held out on a major update. A bit unusual in that Apple did not nag me to update the whole time, until last month when they decided not to push out 18.7.3. If I was on 18.7.2 I probably would not have updated. And knowing what I know now, I definitely wouldn't have updated even while on 18.6.3.

Two biggest issues since 26.2 are the constant app reloading and the hit in battery life. I'm a fairly light user. With battery charge limited to 80%, I sometimes could go 2 days between charging with about 20% left. On 26.2 or 26.2.1, 30% left the next day. These are the two major issues. Apart from that, there are little glitches here and there.

Looks are subjective, but I don't mind the way it looks. However, there are extra little animations here and there, like accessing the ... menu, and they take an extra split second for the animation. It can probably be tweaked or disabled in the accessibility settings but I'm not bothered by it.

I updated to 26.3 couple hours ago. Constant app reloading seems to have been greatly improved. Not saying resolved yet until I give it more time, as well with battery life. Will update tomorrow.

Keyboard still occasionally has the incorrect corner radius on my 17P. Not able to capture in screenshots, but basically the render has a radius that does not match the corners of the screen allowing white to peak through the edges.

What a stupid bug imo. Why the hell would the keyboard need to have a rounded bottom?!? Just make it flat so this sort of thing never happens. What is anyone gaining by having the bottom of their keyboard rounded?!?!?

I notice this and it drives me crazy! I thought at first it was because I was using an older phone, but the Air and 17 Pro also seem to do it 🫤 How has no one at Apple noticed this yet?

Having the same issue on 16PM

Maybe. It sure would be nice.
It would, but gosh I hope we don't have to wait that long :/ we're still 4 months out from even a first beta of 27, and I’m sure it will come with bugs of it’s own with them having to tweak things for the Fold

There's like 10-20 visual bugs that if they fixed would improve everyone's perception of 26, seems like something that could be done in an X.X.1 update

Hello,
Have the CarPlay issues been resolved?
Is the battery life better or not?
I'm still running iOS 18.6.2 (22G100) on my iPhone 16 Pro Max.
I'd like to upgrade to a newer version of iOS one day without having all the bugs reported since iOS 26.

I'm not on the beta train, so this might or might not be new, but 26.3 apparently loses the ability to distinguish and correctly parse colored wallpapers when Reduce Transparency is enabled, and renders at least some colors as nothing but black. Others will result in an odd filtered/blurred effect of the app names.

Sigh.

Every once in a while I like to post this reminder for folks: try Reset Network Settings. I can't explain why, but in the past it has worked to get rid of random bugs. The only thing you lost is WiFi logins.
