iOS 26.3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Just updated my 16pro that was running great on 26.2.1 except some strange BT glitches that seem to be solved with a network reset. Seem to be running fine, can't see any difference really.
Updating 60 phones at work (mix of iphone 14, SE2, SE3, 16 and 16e), hopefully they will be fine too.

Swiping on a phone seems to generally work better than typing. However on the iPad with a keyboard, you have the same mess. Crazy corrections (or not) or word “fixes” that are incorrect when you send/post/save. It is still a freaking mess.

New bug I’ve noticed, my wallpaper is set to be dimmed, and it keeps randomly changing itself to fully bright, even though it’s still marked as dim under customize. oof.

RC didn't have this problem

I turned off autocorrect a looong time ago, it wasn't worth it. Have yall tried resetting your keyboards?
 
Version installed on all devices and works perfectly, I have not yet seen or had errors or bugs, so everything is perfect, Devices iPhone 16 Pro, iPad Pro M2, MB Pro 13", AW Ultra 3, AW S11!! 😎😎

Is this a dark mode problem? I don’t see anything on mine
 
I see it now. You can see bits of the words poking through because they rounded the corners of the keyboard. You’re right, they should just square it off and it would look fine on all screens.

I have had this issue on my 12 Pro starting with the first iOS 26.0 betas. No matter what version of iOS 26 it has never worked for me, not even once. I have reported this issue to Apple two times, but it is still broken.
 
automatic screen locking locks faster than the configured value. i have this on 2 devices. device gets locked at about the half time of the configured value.

Crazy that this black box issue is still present in 26.3 final after I dont know how many 26 versions….

okay, I tested it and it's absolutely true

my screen is set to turn off automatically after one minute, and after testing it several times, it starts to dim after just 20 seconds 😕

I can’t update to Ios 26.2 on my i pad: it has 32 gb memory. Ios and system files take up 18 gb, my few photos and docs take 5 gb. To install i need 15 gbs which i dont have. This cannot be right! Apple dont give a **** about their customers. Its all about pointless, childish , irrelevant tweaks ; which moron brought in sleep mode? Jesus christ surely the population can think for themselves!! Apple have lost it; arrogant, corporate greed rules ok!

when i disable Require Attention for Face ID and Attention Aware Features it uses the configured times.
 
When I take a picture, the thumbnail (bottom left) is a circle instead a square as it has been for life!
If I open camara app, the last picture taken is a circle, it seems an android device.
Anyone else?

I’ve been dealing with a bunch of bugs since the 26.3 update. First off, my auto-lock timer keeps cutting in half for no reason. Also, I’ve always had the same photos for my home and lock screens, but now the home screen wallpaper looks all washed out/faded, while the lock screen is fine. On top of that, my iPhone stopped asking for my SIM PIN, even though it’s turned on. I’ve tried toggling it off and on and did several forced restarts, but nothing works. Honestly, I’m beyond frustrated at this point.

My worst beef with 26.2 was that Messages was broken. I couldn't send image attachments, and it wouldn't sync older messages from iCloud. I was hoping that 26.3 would fix that. Lo and behold, just before I updated to 26.3, Messages is working again as it should. I suppose there was something on the server side that got fixed.
